Need help with Ret Paladins
As of late I have done nothing but BGs and I have the hardest time with Ret Paladins. Seems like no matter what I hit them with I end up dead pretty fast unless i can run away. Im deep destruction, 865 resilience, 75 spell pen, and run with succubus. Dks, warriors, and rogues I have little to no trouble with but those pallys own me. Any advice? Thanks |

Fear, death coil, teleport. But more helpfully... Immolate, Chaos Bolt, Conflag, Shadowfury, depending on their health level, Incinerate or drain soul, if you've been unlucky, death coil followed by teleport, then run and find a healer on your team

Make sure you are facing them? I haven't had that much of a problem with the pallies in BGs unless their sheild is up. Then I'd teleport anyway. |

I also have trouble with retadins, but I'll just ask my question here instead of starting a new thread since I'm new here :P My question is about 1v1 fights, in particular, duels. Alright here is the situation: so you're waiting on a zep, when an equally geared, same level retadin comes up and starts a duel. Remember the only room you have is the top of the zep tower, you are level 70ish, and aff spec'd. What would you guys do to beat this pally? |

pallies are usually no big deal in bg's anymore. like any other melee class, just keep them off you. Shadowfury>fear>immo>then when their decent distance away, cast conflag then cb>inc spam if they cast a heal, use succubus 2 charm them or use fel hunter to interupt them. You should be alright with this. |

Teleport away when you can, best thing to do is run off away from your circle, till you reach max range from it, then teleport back and wait for him to start running back to you. I usually save DC and fear till he's at low health to force him to bubble and heal up then, or just flat out burn him if he doesn't bubble before his last 15k hp. If he has wings up, run away, don't even get close. Also if you still have troubles, pull your VW out and use the new sacc, it can help till you get the routine down. Your demon will still take damage for you through SL and the Shield won't go away if the pally fears your pet. |

I'd also recommend Immo followed immediately by conflagrate as any paladin worth it will simply cleanse your immolate as soon as he can. Other than that, the only tricky thing with paladins is to have your demonic circle placed in a proper position so that you can kite them during their bubble. |
