No prob! just absorb all the info you can and do whatever you feel is best. you can take all the advice you want but until you actually give it a try in the field you will never know what will work best for you...

From what i hear on the Arena site i mentioned above, Affliction/Destro locks are really good in PVP. i personally do not care for Affliction that much. I tried it a couple times throughout the different patches and every time my DPS was so low i couldn't get anywhere. plus in PVP i think the burst you get from Destro really makes a difference. if you stack up on Crit you can tear up another player before they can get close enough to do anything to you! it just takes some practice. but if you like Affliction and you're good at it, then try it in PVP. i did PVP as a meta lock for a long time and it worked out pretty well, but i still like destro the best '

and concerning the Frostsavage set, i know alot of people say to skip it; but if you are undergeared PVE wise like i was, then the Frostsavage set is a decent investment when you first start out in PVP. i was still sporting level 70-75 gear when i hit 80 because i stopped running instances for gear and finished my leveling through quests and grinds. so the FrostSavage set was a must for me. but it's all up for debate. lol

Re: Warlock PvP

Haha yes, you see destruction was the same for me as affliction was for you, DPS didn't cut it. BUT you do get to know a certain spec and as i play affliction in PvE as well i didn't feel the need to change.

I do in fact duel all the time, which is why i come up with alot of questions about certain classes. But it is very good for me. At the moment i'm trying to suss mages, very tricky for me at the moment but once i learn how to play against one and each spec i'm fine from then on. For example, i had a terrible problem with warriors at one time as i just did not know how to handle them. But now i know to kite and use CoEx etc they're really not that hard. I've also sussed pallys and priests.

Take it you're English Jenren22?

I'll 2nd the vote for Frostsavage, 350 resil is better than 0 any day of the week. In fact, the stats on Frostsavage are barely worse than hateful, you just don't get the gem slots. Oh, and don't forget the tailored cloak to match Cloak Of Crimson Snow

And PVP is all about practice, I suck really badly at the mo, but am definately improving every day, stick at it, and DESTRO!!!!!

Re: Warlock PvP

I am English, yes :D.

Noooo affliction is so much fun in PvP, you get them down to like 10% with your dots, then the nice sound of 'shadow trance' is then just what you need to finish them off :D.

More fun than shadowfurying a stealthed rogue, seducing him, fearing him when he trinkets then popping off immo>conflag>CB>inc and then Backlash proccing? I doubt that
