Here are some tips I have learned from 2 vs 2. Get a druid healer partner. They are way overpowered in arenas right now and extremely tough. For pets don't leave out voidwalker. Every 60 seconds you can sacrifice him for a 8.7k bubble in which your spellcasting cannot be interupted by damage. A heals partner is a must. Get the best gear you can to get that resilence up. With a heals partner you will need to occaisionally fear an enemy off him as you try and kill their healer. I have a pally heals. Would rather a druid but he is good. We have little trouble with any melee team. Its the heals that make it tough. Shadow priest will mana burn your healer so be careful. Addons are key I am still looking for the right ones. For instance you can fear a target 3 times then there is a short period they are immune. If you knew what the time was you would not waste a cast also a notification of a pally bubble would stop you from unecessary casts. Every cast count and timing is crucial. However we will get a very nice increase in what we can do come the new patch. I understand that our dots will not be affected as much by resilience and that it will affect other damage more. Anyways there is my nickel. Last edited by jesuth; June 30, 2009 at 02:38 PM.. |

Re: Warlock PvP
Here is another tip aswell. Cant recall to have seen much about it in this tread. Get used to use your teleport aswell. setting it up on "smart" places and use it at the right time. This could change the outcome of any encounter in pvp. Regardless the specc you are using or what class you are fighting. A good example in arena is when you place the teleport pad upon the bridge, and kite your mele/ranged down under too then tele back up so your healer can start healing you without any damage taken. |

In BGs just drop your teleport. If you have time place it somewhere thoughtful like in a large bush, behind a tree or in a building. But, if you don't have time just drop it where you are standing. Just having it somewhere else than where you are currently, can buy you the precious seconds to get distance and burst whatever melee that was gnawing on your leg. Something simple as not being able to get that instant conflag off due the a lag dancing 5% health rogue, teleport and face in the right general direction can lead to a sweet victory. |

Also, with her out, you potentially have three different ccs. In a couple of occasions when defending a node all on my own, I've seduced caster, banished tree, feared melee and out on offense on a forth. Of course I died in the end, but can hold out enough for reinforcement to come. It does depend a lot on the cool down gods, but if their trinkets are down, for a couple of seconds bliss. ![]() Only drawback with her is she goes oom so quickly and dealing with locks with felhunters out gets very tricky. |
