3.1 Learning more and more about PVP

so i learned something today that has me asking many questions.

i learned that players in BG's are from different servers. this might be old news to many people, but did not start PVP'ing till around a month or two ago, so i never really thought much about it, but it makes sense now that i know what is going on.

however one question that i wonder about now, is if there is a website, or online group aside from warcraft guilds that run premade battlegrounds. and they just say be in "Alterac Valley 12" or something like that. there are zero pvp guilds on my server and no one answers my posts for premade groups so this is my only shot to get into a premade battle group without changing servers. anybody have any experience in this field?

Yes, some servers have guilds that do pre-made BG runs. Some times they are impromptu through city LFG adverts. I've not seen anything arranged by a web service that organizes players from multiple servers. The way the queuing system works, this would be difficult to make work anyway.

You can join as a group at a battle master, only one person has to join the whole group.

The OP is taking battlegroups into consideration, where the other members may be on a different server in the same battlegroup and therefore unable to form a party before queuing.

Oh... well then. Sorry I misunderstood the question. Then to answer your question, There is not a way for cross server groups to exist. I could be wrong, but I have not heard of anything like that.

Re: Learning more and more about PVP

Well I dunno There could possibly be A Good amount of IRL friends who use Vent to coordinate, but Even then It would be Humungeously hard to coordinate all the different characters on all the different servers at the exact same time...... just my 2c worth Btw hi all i'm leanpockets. Well my Name says leanpocket but only by letter limit

When you look at your character in the Armory, it will show your server and your battlegroup (for example, my human lock is on Durotan server/realm and in the Ruin battlegroup).

As others have said, it is nearly impossible to coordinate any type of premade from multiple servers because of the randomness of the queue system.

thanks for the responses guys, i really appreciate it. what i was getting at with the cross server premades, is i noticed at the bottom of the que system for BG's it gives you an option of which BG's to choose from. it will say "first available" or you can choose like: alterac valley 1 or alterac valley 2. and so on. so i thought that if one group from one server is going into alterac valley 1 then you can just hop into alterac valley 1 and be in the same BG as them.

like i said though, i am still learning about all of this so i just wanted some professional answers, god knows what would happen if i asked this question on the trade channel. lol Field day for the Trade Trolls!

Thanks Again

Even when you choose which one to enter (AV 1, 2, etc.), it is pretty much a random thing because of the queue. You can't enter the bg until someone else leaves it, so there is no guarantee that you would get into the same one as someone else in a cross-server premade.

Oh, and don't ask stuff like this on the trade channel. Ask in general chat. I usually turn my trade channel off because I get so tired of the ridiculous conversations on there. Trade channel should be kept to trade conversations imho.

Re: Learning more and more about PVP

Not impossible, but using pre-from enabler 2 groups joined together, we all were on vent and have been friends just had migrated to other server, but we were still in the same battlegroup, so choosing WSG 12 was the same....but that won't really solve your problem, you are a PVE server with few interested in PVP...depending on the depth of friendship and love of pvp..I would look at new landing spot. PUG battle grounds can be exasperating, but the thrill of one coming together for a perfect come behind win is higher than a premade
