How do you deal with a healer?
I 2 vs 2 with holy pally. We have a terrible time with healers especially druids. So how do you deal with them? Mana drain as a lock? Fear and stun while trying to kill? Fear and try to kill their partner? |

You didnt say which spec you are. Affliction = DOT, fear and the drain mana. Destruction = wear down with your damage. Druids are tricky without double DPS, especially if they are pillar hugging and you are destruction. If they are behind a pillar the entire game try to get them to roll a full set of HOTs on themselves and separate them from their partner. Then go for a zerg on their partner and hope for a crit chain and a well timed silence on the healer. |

I feel this. I'm affliction with a disc priest and despite me getting my instants the shaman strips my CoT off straight away. I can't get UA on him as i'm constantly chasing him round a pillar. That DK/shaman match took a very long time. Unfortunately in the end my priest was nuked a bit too hard and i lost him. I still managed to drag the match out though on my own. It's shamans and druids for me. Especially when they pillar hump. |

Agreed, Shamans and Druids are difficult to kill, I once dueled a Resto Shaman for 20 minutes before 'Tapping' out (see what I did there?), but they are not impossible. In the end, the Disc priest would Sceam and I would drain mana, then DoT him, Drain Mana, another DoT, Drain mana....etc. It takes awhile, but if you can keep the other enemy away/CC'd, which is very difficult with Fear not staying on much, it works... |

i play destro w/ a disc priest myself, and ive found the easy way to kill a healer is to surprise them. I do this a lot, and what i mean is to throw a dot or 2 on the healer and dps his partner. once the healer gets a lil chunk took away ( he should be paying att to his partner gettign worked) i turn and fear the healer than burst my *** off. with shadowfury, spell lock, and deathcoil, you should be able to drop him b4 he can heal himself. ( easier w/ shammy or disc healer b/c they can purge/mass d to get any hots off) |

tree healers are easy.... just get his partner setup to be burned down (i.e. get immolate up and a secure position, make sure partner is ready). then banish the tree and blow up his friend. if the banish is wearing off and the partner isn't quite down toss a death coil on the tree and that should be plenty of time. if you're affliction it will take a bit longer and you'll have to rely on the parnter, but i would still use the same technique. get everything ready and start with a banish if he's in tree form. for paladins, whether healer or not, we usually try to make them bubble as fast as possible. so target them and just unleash hell until they bubble. switch to the partner and start working on them. as soon as the bubble goes away you use the same theory as the tree - keep the paladin cc'd in a way that he can't cast while you blow up the partner. in this case you'd have to be good with your fear, death coil, and shadowfury. it helps to try and los his partner as well. i run with a DK so he's constantly tossing in strangulates and so forth as well to keep the guy from healing |

My least favorite healer by far in this game is a resto druid they take a lot of time to kill. That or a disc priest. But usually i sick my puppy and lock em hit em with a death coil. Then get a fear off get some burst shots being destruction and all. And i kinda just hope i hit a string of crits and kill em hehe. They dont have that much health. And also i banish trees.

If your Affliction your going to have a hard time especially with HoT healers cause they will counter your dots. If your in a 2v2 crowd control the healer then kill the other one, once thats done youve won. If you are trying to kill a healer as destro its not to hard cause you can burst about any healer to death just stack all your attacks into a space of a couple seconds. wait till backlash procs if it will and then use something with a cast time like CB and throw in an incin at the same time so they hit at once, and because those spells take traveltime you can hit them with shadowfury AS SOON AS those hit, then follow up with an immolate/conflag combo or whatever big hitter you have. If you are on CD or cant proc backlash then just try and make your spells all hit at once in general. If your affli I find the best thing to do is keep the dots up and durring down time use Mana Drain. it wont cost you very much mana to do this but it will kill theirs really fast, and they cant heal without mana. |

Hi guys , im new in this forum and i have only 1 question , now listen ... Im lock , my mate is pala retri , we are 2 dps and vs. 2 dps we kill them for seconds , they can't hit us one time , BUT here have one but ... If we play vs. DPS and HEALER we can't win , every time we lose , i make 7-11k conf , 6-8k chaos , death coil 3,5k-6k , shadowburn 2-4k , incinirate 3,5k-6k , immolate 2k instant and around 4-5k DoT , shadowfury 1,6k-2,5k - THIS IS MY damage. AND OMG I CANT KILL FUC*ING HEALER :@:@:@ Please guys tell me in what line i cast my magics on healer to kill him without he heal himself... ??? :S |
