My 1st Wintergrasp mark!
I got my 1st Wintergrasp mark the other day and I wasn't even in the fight! The other day I just happen to be flying over wintergrasp on the taxi during a battle, which just happen to end on my way through and poof! an achievement pops up and tells me I just got my 1st mark, I checked my currency tab and sure enough it was there!

gotta love a freebie. I'm hoping by camping out in front of ulduar all the time, i can get a similar freebie "undying" achievement and title/mount... /cough

WG is so laggy and since you pretty much win on O and lose on D, I just head straight for the Flightmaster when on D and wait for a mark. Or when on O, I just play for like 1 min and get my Lt rank, and then afk around till the win and get my 3marks. I dont' even know what the point of WG is anymore since horde and alliance just take turns winning/losing. Though allliance on my server win much faster cause they do that thing where they have 16 siege engines withing 1min of the start. |

I kinda look forward to the WG-changes in 3.2 cause right now there's like 150 hordies and sometimes just 5-10 allys in WG. It's not that fun when it's like that and it gets kinda hard to complete the quest when you're supposed to destroy three siegemachines.  Dunno if it's gonna be that much better with the queingsystem but hopefully you don't run in to allys with like 200k hp.
