Sure a few macros have already been posted mine are slightly different Devour Magic, now Sinj is one of my 2's partner you can subsitute your own name or the name of your partners and it will dispell. /cast [pet:Felhunter, target=Sinj] Devour Magic Standard Focus Macro to spell lock /cast [pet:Felhunter, target=focus] Spell Lock; [pet: felhunter] Spell Lock Cast Demon armor use HS (use to have endless hp potion but after patch can't use that in arenas. These are all friendly in arenas, the other macro would work as well but you can't use runic healing potions in arenas. Also lifeblood of course only works if your herbalist. what is nice is that lifeblood i think in this patch no longer shares a cd with healthstone so now I can use both. Use 14 would be where i would have my battlmaster trinket. /cast demon armor /use fel healthstone /use lifeblood /use 14 Yep this was posted already just confirming this will work, use 13 or 14 which ever is your pvp trinket. /use 13 /cast demonic circle: Teleport Some other unoriginal tips from me ![]() Use the teleport macro for instance, if you face a rogue/frost team, the opener is sap your partner, open on you and you have frost at your feet, between the rogue burst and the shatter combo you will get gibbed, best to teleport LOS and give your healer a chance to bring you to full. Keep your fel hunter focused on the mage, spell lock his inc damage not to mention if your priest/shammy gets sheeped if they trinket the sap, be johhny on the spot to dispell them using the above macro. If you can live through the initial burst will typically win the match. *Must rotate fears between both mage and rogue. Use your CD's if you must, as long as you keep one of them in some form of cc, (your partner must help as well such as death coil target then cast hex/cyclone helps ton) By doing so your healer should easily be able to heal through one dps vs two. Similar tactic applies to rogue priest another strong comp, the opener is a sap to your healer, you try to get into combat, place a dot anything on priest asap, rogue opens on you, the priest then runs in to fear your healer. Remember you can dispell that fear with your felhunter. Trinket teleport unfear your healer and reset. Get ua up on the rogue before the fear otherwise the priest will dispell your fear. (Or Fear right away followed up by a UA, you would be suprised how often priest will dispell it just after your UA lands ) It's ok if the rogue wants to blow is cloak of gibbness, its a good thing the sooner you get the rogue to use it the better chance you have of getting a kill on the rogue. Place dots on both targets and rotate cc between priest and rogue. When rogue is feared, switch to priest and mana drain like mad..but again make sure to have ua up first, mana drain can be dispelled by priest. Focus on priest and spell lock the mana burn they cast on your healer between your drains and if you play with a priest their burns, you will win the mana war. Druid, shammy's usually always win a mana war against disc priest. Keep your pet on the priest to prevent drinking. With priest/rogue comps its about min the damage the rogue brings in, by fearing, keeping distance, pressure on the healer and drain when you can. Your team mate can also help focus cc with cylone/hex/fear. Now I like to keep cc upon rogue only because I want to drain that priest fast and we know rogues between, kicks, stunlocks can shut us down hard. "Ideal" is always keeping those dots ticking on rogue, putting pressure on priest that must heal themself and partner. If priest runs to LOS dont chase, keep pet on priest just switch back to rogue and this is important "your partner must also dps" Two things will happen, either the priest will go crap and have to run back to heal if so, this is a great time to now switch cc to priest, hex/cyclone counter spell, focus fear.I say this and recognize it's easier said then done and I will even admit I don't do this as well as I would like, I just always have it my mind how I want the tempo of the match to work. There's been some very good Info in this thread already. My 2C I'm at around 2200 match making value. Team rated at 2030 right now (wish us luck on our title push). Affiction/Rshammy for 2's. Just started running some shadowplay in 3's (same shaman, spriest) and will run that for season 7. GEAR. It matters. As affliction you need your dots to tick as hard as possible, the higher your spell power the better. If your run around w/ 1700 spell power its going to be a nightmare. If your run w/ 2700 its a whole new world. I like to think of our damage as sneaky burst. You full dot/haunt a healer at the right time then fear, dc, spell lock, shock/hex and they dont know what hit them. It's all about the timing. THE MANA WAR. If played right this can win your tons of matches. Full dot all targets, fear dps, drain mana on the healer. Constantly switch your damage so they have to heal both targets. Communicate w/ your healer when they can run away and drink. A fear/port combo can buy your healer a ton of time to drink while you keep yourself alive, and keep your pet on the other healer so they cant drink. PET WAR. You need to be good with your pet. First thing you need to do is turn off the auto magic devour and spell lock. SERIOUSLY GO DO IT NOW. These are your abilities, not your pets to **** with. Use them as such. Spec into IMP Health Funnel and use if wisely. If your pet is dragged around a pillar and is going to die, long summon one so you don't use Fel Dom (3 min buff helps here). You take +33% more damage with your pet down, any healer is going to notice this. So tell them to keep your dam pet up! It's all melee all the time in the arena's, get used to it. Warriors are going to own ;( Rogues are going to frusterate. You just have to outplay them all ;)
