A few noob questions
I stopped playing a few years ago (over 3) so left when i got board of raiding MC all the time, plus started a family etc. But back now, I had over 2K kills in the BG's before I left, and had a rank (ranks appear to be gone now, and replaced with rewards). A couple of questions if I may, I have just spent all my cash on dual spec (demo for pve, and undecided for pvp) Is there any point in PvP having an attacking pet (felguard), as the mobs (other pvp) don't work off threat, so they can just run past and get some cheeky hits in up close, and with fear your pet just chases them about. So stick with void (soullink/shield), felhunter to get rid of spells (seems a bit of a waste to me) or succ just for seduce? Its it better, ignoring the team aspect to go for destruction over aff. I guess aff you kind of hang back spamming everything randomly to spread the load for other tanks etc to get in close to get more points at the end of the match, as points do indeed mean prizes, and des works better in raids too.. i havent played demo for pvp in a while, but theats b/c meta is nowhere near as good as people think. for pvp you can reallly play either destro or affliction. both of them do good damage (in different ways), but destro is easily the better for survivabilty. as for pets, succy is strong agaianst melee, which really leaves no room for VW. i dont know if you know, but vw sacrifice was changed to 8k shield on a 1 min cd (vw isnt killed anymore just takes sum damage from it) and tha shield only protects you for 1, at most 2 globals. Felhunter is the way to go for casters, but i use felhunter almost exclusively in arena ( almost all teams have a helaer) i feel destro works more towards the team aspects than afflcition. destro still has fear, and you can shadowfury on top of your healer to stun the melee thats on him, giving your healer a few secs to run/heal. BTW, regardless of going afflic or destro, you still want to get 17 points in demo for soullink and fel domination |
