Character Info
Hoppy 80 Human Warlock Ghostlands Euro PvE Guild: T N T Profile: Blizzard Armory Talent Spec: 0/13/58 |
thanks for that. I am an 'old hand' warlock (she was my first char when i started around the time of BC) and at 70 I played affliction which I loved (despite my reservations about it) but when I hit 80 destro seemed the way to go, and again I love the power. Up until now I have been PvE (with the odd wander through a BG...)but always said I would rather stick pins in my eyes than play PvP!! But i feel quite fired up about giving this a good go. Our team comprises of one seasoned PvP player, 2 fairly recent PvP converts and 2 noobs (one of which is me!) When I get home tonight I will have another proper look at the video posted and make some notes and see where I go from there |

Re: Pvp help
in my experience (destro only in Wrath of the Lich King) ret pallys are really easy to beat. try to keep a lil distance to start, i like to drop shadowfury early(short cd anyways). most ret pallys will waste freedom on the 3 sec stun, so i immediately cast a fear after shadowfury, they almost always pop freedom right into a fear. than do a lil burst and tehy will bubble to save themself.you just run away, if they close on you any just teleport. kite until bubble is down than shadowfury fear agian and burst, deathcoil after first round of burst and you should drop them b4 they can get near ya. I beat most ret pallys w/ more than 1/2 of my health. howver pvp prot is a diff story... |
