First of all: Many thanks for all the answers! Marks: So i can trade marks for honor, but if i get it right i need one mark of each BG to hand in the quest "Concerted Efforts". As i have only marks for AV; WSG, EoS and AB i need to do the new BGs to collect their marks also. But that brings me the first problem: Yesterday i was in queue for both for about 4 hours - and not a single one popped. Only sonme WSg and AV was going. I remember in my time there were always like 10 of each BG running - so why is there no BG-PvP happening anymore? Honor: So i can spend some honor on useful stuff right now as long as it does not need arena points. Gems are a good option, another one is to get those Lvl80 PvP items which are not part of the arena set i guess, like neck or rings. So what is the deal with "Wintergrasp Marks" that someone mentioned here. I understand its useful to collect them while levelling and then buy some stuff in lvl80 at a special vendor?

re: reason you're not seeing many BGs happening is because you are in a levelling bracket. There's tons of BGs at 80, much less below that. I'd queue for them and continue your normal questing. Wintergrasp Marks are awarded in same way as BG marks (1 for loss, 3 for win) for participation in the Wintergrasp PvP battles. These happen every 2.5 hours. I believe you now need to be lvl75 before you can start doing WG battles, and lvl78 before you can pick up the weekly quests. You can buy "Deadly" versions of the arena set using honor only. Vendor is in the Dalaran sewers. You'll need to be 74 before you can get there unless you can find a friendly mage/ lock to portal you. @cursalock "It wasn't in a blue post or anything, but I heard from someone that always seems to know everything about WoW that they might make a BOA Heirloom PvP weapon that scales with level. Not trying to start a rumour, just passing on what I heard in a place that might attract people interested in that tidbit. Could be very useful for people levelling an alt through BGs." These already exist and have existed for ages - you can buy them with Wintergrasp Shards. |

One thing for those which find themselves in the same situation like me: There is a new Medallion of the Alliance available. So this was a good thing to spend honor on as i need it anyways and i do not face the Problem of maybe buying the wrong piece of equipment. As for the epic gems i would not spend honor on them right now - they only cost about 100-150g each to buy in AH and as money is not an issue i would not spend any honor on it. Another good thing to buy is the new Standard which can be placed in any BG imo. And thanks again to those who took the time to answer
