What are the thoughts on the Glyph of Searing Pain? I'd imagine that any demo warlock would make SP a staple spell due to the short cast time. Given the changes in 3.2, what are the thoughts on a 54/17 demo spec: Talent Calculator - World of Warcraft

I actually experimented with a Demonology Searing Pain setup where I had both Improved Searing Pain and the Glyph. It just doesn't do enough damage to make it worth grabbing. Basically, there are better glyphs and with the changes in 3.3, Incinerate will be doing pretty good damage with a great cast time, due to the Molten Core change.

Also, Soul Fire still isn't going to be worth grabbing in 3.3, IMHO. It just isn't a reliable mechanic in PvP. I'm thinking some thing like 0/53/18 will be the way to go. Some people might decide they don't want Intensity but we'll have to wait and see what else changes in 3.3. Hopefully pet scaling will go live this patch too!

I feel naked without having some form of cast protection, but I suppose it's true that if melee is beating on me, casting Incinerate is probably not something I'd be doing.

Re: PvP Guide

Can furious gear purchasable with triumph emblems ignore the arena rating or is it still required?
