Shamys- how can u tell what spec?
So there is the question: I have trouble telling elemental from resto from enchancement shamys - the addon tells you that most of the time but sometimes I need that info before the actual fighting start (of course after the game started). Is this possible I know with priests is very difficult to tell so i can use some help there too - can you tell by the buffs or mana pool or life pool - any advice is appriciated? |

Right click the shaman portrait. Select "Inspect." Caster stats = elemental or restoration, physical dps stats = enhancement. Don't you think this is better asked on a shaman forum? |

its for PvP Ugru. You may get a clue by which shield they are using or wait for them to drop their totems as well. If they are wielding an ax, they should be enhance, but you never see enhance in arena. they are with worst shammy spec for pvp. Out of ideas for telling elem from resto though |

You might be able to tell from the totems they drop. More than likely, though, you might have to wait until they cast that first spell. Same with the healing priests, though if they aren't in shadow form they are going to be healers, which could be enough info in arena. |

If one of their team mates has an earth shield, then the shammy is resto. |

Resto - look for earth shield on one of the teammates or the shaman, around 17k+ mana, no totem of wrath Elemental - Totem of Wrath, around 17K mana, no earth shield present Enhancement - easy to tell, they will have around 13k mana tops |

If it's for arena, use gladius.

thanks all very heplful. I use gladius but it takes some time to show specs - I am talking about these 1-2 seconds when we still run up the ramp or towards the crates etc. Priests - do you think I can safely assume its deciple - noone is running holy - its seems to suck for 2v2. |
