World PVP in Storm Peaks
Must admit it's been a long time since I've visited the Warlocks Den. I switched from my lock to a hunter as my main once the expansion came out. But now going back to level my lock. My vent: While doing some PVP in on my horde toon in Storm Peaks there was a lock and mage that we were fighting that would just completely disappear in the middle of the fights and then reappear immediately fearing, freezing us etc... the time they would disappear for was always random. My first thoughts were modem glitching.. but that would just make it look like they paused for a few seconds. I've read about a quest for the alliance that will allow you to phase out.. thinking they may have been doing this; but not sure.... If they know what's going on could you please elaborate... it's quite frustrating trying to fight what you can't see, then you get feared, blasted, then they're gone again.. rinse and repeat... Thanks |

I do believe you've run into a couple of players who figured out how to use the phase transitions in Storm Peaks to their advantage in a fight. I do a similar thing in Icecrown while farming herbs. I'll go back and forth between a border of a phase section until the server phases me out from the rest of the mobs and I can go pick some herbs where elites or large sums of mobs normally would be.
