Fellpuppy with spellock nd curse of tongues helps alot as well as shadowfurry + alot of fear but still the more you fear the less dps you do :/ . But aint it kinda sad how they can now just like rogues keep us almost perma stunned ? i mean when the hell did that tallent get so op ? anyone got a few tacts on this ?

Re: Pallys -_-

I actually don't have too many problems with Pallys. Granted, it has been awhile since I have dueled one. My pally in my 3s team just switched from Ret to Prot, and I have yet to duel him as Prot. In Ret, I usually would win most duels. Proper use of Shadowfury, Death Coil, Seduce, Fear, and the Demonic Circle are important, as you are going to want to kepp them as far from you as you can, as with all Melee. That, and I love using my potions in duels: Invisibility, Swiftness. Both are fun.

I find paladins are one of the few classes I'm almost always gonna win against sans getting jumped in a very bad situation. I've found it's much less easy as destro though, when I've run a pvp destro spec. As affliction, I almost always have my fel hunter out, and I have a macro on hotkey to devour magic off of me. That's the trick, pally stuns are magic and not physical. So i get stunned by a pally, i devour and blow a cd to start a fear chain, get up my curse, corruption, and unstable afflition, then haunt. Drop a circle and move away from it. If you see them cast something, spell lock, if you're in trouble though, blow the spell lock anyways. Try to never let them get close. when they blow a bubble, teleport and run till it goes away, the fear and go again. standard rules of draining to regain health when ya need to and got a little room. I've found that if i'm desperate, i can blow a spell lock and get a couple seconds of drain in before they can use any of thier attacks before blowing another cd to get away.

The biggest things to remember are this, the stuns can be devoured, all their spells are holy so if you can catch a heal to lock or an exorcism/pet fear, you can knock down thier damage for a while, they are dispellers, and if you can use your teleport after they bubble they won't catch you while bubbled. Only The dispelling thing can make destro tricky, you gotta be quick on conflag or it's gone w/ a good pally. UA means they will kill themselves dispelling if they are not smart. Only other problem i've had is a well geared pally nearly instagibbing my pet, ya gotta be on them to stop that or you're in trouble.

also of note, they don't seem to be able to bubble/lay on hands if you can interrupt a heal and nuke em down before it wears off

This ^

The only frustrating Pally spec is Prot...but only if they are well geared, and even then it is just a long drawn out win for me most of the time. The only melee class to give me trouble is a well played DK or rogue...(but luckily for me most rogues and DK's are terrible.)

When i still was destruction i used my succubus to seduce the pala and start casting
Soulfire, when they use trinket seduce again with a good soulfire they lose 40% HP
immo conflag and chaos and they dead or bubble
after bubble do the same thing
and always keep demonic portal close

Re: Pallys -_-

I tend to find palas difficult too, my best bet is kiting (this is as destro). I use my succu in bg and usually in arenas, might switch pet if I meet dual casters. Always save trinket for stun, not repetenence. Keep a distance to the portal, but in range. Use the destro chain, force a bubble asap. The longer the battle drags on, the more of a disadvantage you're at. If he's prot and I have to kill him for some reason (in bg's I just ignore them) I'll try to drain mana while fearing him, kiting when fear is on DR. A luck chaos bolt + conflagrate crit will usually get the job done.

Go affliction and enjoy kiting all melee up and down bgs/arenas... Curse of exhaustion is amazing.

Just place your teleport, and kite while dots drain until they bubble...once they bubble run away - teleport - run further - put exhaustion back on once bubble wears off.

Locks shouldn't lose to any pally... we have so many counters to them which is why they hate us so much. Force them to bubble early then run... watch the countdown and when they're at around 1 second start casting fear then Curse of Agony, corruption and ALWAYS ua. the fear should break by then, while they're running back to you toss haunt, and watch for a cast. while they're casting felhunter should spell lock, that'll lock them out for 6 seconds so they'll try to beat you down with their dumb sword or club or whatever... just port out of there and death coil then drain... pally goes dead
