PvP, Battlegrounds & Arenas One on one dueling to full blown raids, anything PvP!

flyingade Character Info flyingade 80 Human Warlock dragonblight Euro PvE Guild: sinister Talent Spec: 3/15/53	BG suggestions Hi guys, had some pvp gear for a while but not really used it due to doing a lot of raiding but discovered warsong gulch on my lowbe druid so have been running it on my lock too. I like it because its only 10man and far less likely to get grouped up on and ganked. heres my pvp gear although it is a mixed of my pvp gear. resili at 830 but still struggling against rogues and no spell pen :-( WoW Heroes - World of Warcraft PvE character info & ratings any suggestions? im pondering giving affliction a go too. Ade

In BG you have to move in group. They will out a lot of damage but will receive a lot too. I prefer to play with my PvP gear, but I have 2500+ Spell Power. =D I played BG in Affliction and Destruction in find Affliction very very good, because the mobility and pressure. Remember: NEVER run alone in the BG.

I consequently run into groups of 2-4 players at a time and kill off most if not all. The thing is that you must always confuse them, ** with their heads. Stun them, howl of terror, kill a couple (pve geared targets go down in 3-4 hits) then fear 1 while killing the other, finish the last one and keep moving. What you must never do is run into a group like that if they have a healer or an arms warrior, in that case you're *ed. I played BG in Affliction and Destruction in find Affliction very very good, because the mobility and pressure.

Remember: NEVER run alone in the BG.

I have tried both affliction and destruction also. Destruction is bigger nukes but in stuff like WSG i just DoT up everything i see and use my portal. I found pvp actually more fun with affliction. Not so much for arena.

I am assuming that you got most of your PVP gear through badges, (instead of PVP), as you mentioned that you just "discovered" Warsong Gulch.

Rogues can be a pain, especially when you are new to PVP, but it helps to be specced into Imp Succubus and to Seduce the rogue when he stuns you. (That is a oversimplification, but there are plenty of threads on this topic...)

Really, just keep playing and you will/(should) get much better with time. I noticed that you only have about 1,400hk's, so when you get closer to 10k you shouldn't need to ask these questions, IMO.

When I team up with a healer, demo or desctruction. So when we encounter a group of 2-5 with a healer we can rapidly kill 1-2 to even the chances.

Wymoril Character Info Wymoril 80 Human Warlock antonidas US Guild: Reunited Talent Spec: 54/17/0	Re: BG suggestions First thing I noticed was the staff; you can get more resilience with gear bought through Honor points and keep Spell Power and Haste (Furious Gladiator's Slippers of Dominance and Titan-Forged Band of Ascendancy). This will free up some space to Gem Spell Pen. If you have to gem resilience then get King's Amber from Captain O'Neal and have it cut by a nice JC into Mystic King's Amber, this will only cost you 10k honor. Second, I think your hit is past cap. You may want to consult a hit cap guid (Mr. Woof works). Finally, use macros. This is one that works great on pallys and rouges: /cast [nomod] Frostweave Net /cast [nomod]Shadowflame(Rank 2) Hope this helps and I have to go raid so I will comment later.
