Undead Rogues
Hi all. I must say the Warlock is one of the most powerful classes when play right and one of the weakest when played wrong. So I need all the help I can get on this one. I can beat every class pvp except the undead rogue they get me every time. Unless it’s being played by a noob pvp-er. I even soloed a 52 level druid and a 47 level mage at the same time. Finished them both with hellfire but… I just cant seem to take out rogues with any authority at all. So please someone if you know how to take these guys please share the info. FYI I always have my succubus up and invisible when PvP.

Undead Rogues
Against any UD rogue that has a clue, you die, unless: 1)Demonology spec'd - Soul link/Master Summoner 2)Engineer - Netomatic, Rocket helmet. 3)You had VW out At the moment for Sacrifice. If you dont fall under any of those Categories, just eat the dirt dont waste your healthstone or potion. Question to you Stinky Undeads: I know Will of the Forsaken breaks fear while feared, and makes them immune to fear. Does Will of the Forsaken Break mez, while mezed, and make them immune to mez as well?

Undead Rogues
Well, first step is to seduce them as soon as they break stealth. Most undead rogues that I have dueled dont use Will of the Forsaken before they break their stealth. Assuming they are seduced I then run back as far as I can and cast a soulfire on them. As soon as that hits rogues I fight do one of two things. They will either a) use sprint to close the gap between you and them or b) activate Will of the Forsaken. If they do a) then your in luck, that was the wrong choice :P just seduce them again. After that I usually immolate then fear (if they still havent used Will of the Forsaken), corruption and Curse of Agony. If they choose b) then there might be issues... they will most likely still use sprint to close the gap so while they are running in I try and get immolate on them since its the only dot spell that has a casting time. After that ill put corruption and Curse of Agony on them if im not stunned. Basically the key when they are in close is not to waste time/mana on spells that have a casting time. Any rogue that has even a slight idea about their class will kick/gouge you if you try and channel a spell. Thats roughly what I do. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. This is probably the second/third hardest matchup for a warlock imo. The other two hard ones being paladins and UD shadow priests (easily the hardest class for anyone 1v1) |
