What gets me is someone posted this link on the general boards and everyone was saying he was just lucky or the Horde players sucked. Hate to break it to them but a Demonlock with some skill and practice is something to not be taken lightly. Mulk |

I find it somewhat humorous how almost everyone seemed to think Demonology sucked and wasn't worth investing in at release. Look what happens when you actually experiment with things instead of just theorize. Demonology has its issues, but it certainly doesn't suck. |

sadly im in school right now and they blocked the site to see the vid but i would like to comment on demonlock. I went demonology from the first time a i got stats and i love it and plan on never switching hehehe! |

I've been demonology from the start. Loved it ever since I saved my party twice in Blackfathom Deeps with half second pet recast times. Voidwalker down and mobs loose? No problem! Just summon another one! That was an odd trip, if I recall correctly. We had a druid tanking who suddenly and without warning bailed on us, so the two warlocks ended up pulling tank duty with the voidwalkers. Then a paladin asked if he could join literally just as we reached the temple. Good timing. :p |

Demonology does suck, it makes you very vulnerable to to dispellers, as the entire tree is a joke except for the dispellable wonder, and master summoner + fel domination. PvE its alright though. By the way, this warlock's pvp reaction time is pretty slow , and hes a gnome.... BOOOO HIssss :p I much rather a nightfall procc followed by a death coil and shadowburn, if they crit its ruin time, and my massive hp bar will keep me alive(boosted by demonic embrace). /shrug well i guess one video of a gnome beating some horde makes demonology look viable. But imho, its being a warlock that did that, not being demonology spec. Soul link is very nice against rogues though, barely etched his hp bar ...

Actually people rarely if ever even use dispell on me. Since it takes alot of debate for warlocks to even choose this tree and warlocks in general are rare so people have little experience with what they can do. On the other hand if they do have a clue and dispell I just fear/seduce re-soul link then cast under water breath/see invis/shadow ward and Let them dispell thru that as I do more damage. Still I wont use soul link more then 3 times vs a dispelling class but for any other class it has its uses, less damage done to me is always good. The only bad part is when TOO much damage is done to me and the pet dies seeing as most only have about half my hp anyways. |
