First Piece of Ruthless Gear (Conquest Points)
Any suggestions on the first piece of Ruthless gear I should acquire? At the rate of 25 conquest points a day (can't seem to find anyone to do arenas with), it is going to take forever but would love to hear your comments/thoughts. I currently have 975 conquest points. I was all excited to pick up a wand at the bargain basement price of 700 until I found out I couldn't buy it until I had accumulated 7800 points for the season. Ouch!! |

At 25 cp a day I highly suggest you find some random shmuck to play 10 wins with, it pays off in the long run. As for gear, I got the shoulders first. Then again, I got those the first day of the season because I played both RBG and arena fully to the cap. Your other option is to end the season with at most 3 ruthless pieces. 2 from BH and 1 from CP.

The first doesn't really make a difference, all makes a difference... Get yourself an arena-partner just for the points then... Should be doable, however I would change some stuff and read up on warlock stuff. I hope you have been on a break and that's the reason you have spirit some weird spirit choices... Spirit does nothing for the lock nowadays... The reason I can understand people not wanting to do arena with you: Revitalizing Shadowspirit Diamond 20 Unique-Equipped +54 Spirit and 3% Increased Critical Healing Effect Item Level 85 It's just too weird... If you don't have a trinket yet to break CC, get that first... (don't see that equiped and none in your activity feed) |

Personally i get the cloak as the first bit of Ruthless, due to the isntant SpellPen cap, and its only 1650 CPs. I get the rest with Honor Points, usually within that first week, before the reset... |

I went for the Alacrity neck and feet first just for the pure haste stat. Then shoulders cuz they're sweet. Saving for the weapon upgrades next. |

Point taken on that odd choice of gem. I recently went through and re-gemmed everything but obviously missed that one. I'll look into the trinket too and appreciate the advice. I don't get CC'd too much in random BG's and if I do, the resilience helps out. I'm guessing it is a completely different strategy in arena. Quote:

One thing to think about as well, the Ruthless hands reduce the cooldown of your Demonic Circle: Teleport spell by 5 seconds. Probably worth more than any stat upgrade on one piece of gear.
