CoD in PVP
Hey, was just pondering something. I've been doing BG for about 2 weeks so I dont have a lot of expertise.........yet. If I CoD a player and then die, does the COD fade or keep ticking away till it hits for 3,200? Same for corruption, and Dots in general. Guess what I am thinking is if Dots last after death then doing COD would be a nice gift from the grave.

Re: CoD in PVP
Unfortunatly CoD can not be used on players. as to why i have no clue. IMHO If no one on there team will dispell this off of them they deserve to die. As for other dots they do continue to tick when the warlock that cast them is dead. Last edited by Norber; November 01, 2006 at 03:28 PM.. |

so since you cant cast in on players, does that mean you can cast it on druids when they shapeshift since they are considered beasts?

Re: CoD in PVP
Players are players and Beasts are Beasts... Perhaps, it should have been stated the CoD can only be cast on NPC.....

Re: CoD in PVP
I'm aware that CoD can't be used PvP, but I've always wondered if you could do the doomguard ritual in a BG. Could be fun to pop one while waiting for the BG gates to open, to have on the first push at the LM or BS. Anybody tried this?

In fact, once in a AV, I put CoD on a NPC Lieutenant and a doomguard appeared. Unfortunately, I was badly beaten and died before I had a chance to enslave... No, you can't cast CoD on any player, player's pet or demon. On the other hand, if the hunter and his pet survive for a minute, than I would say, you have other things to worry about... My suggestion, is when 2.0 Comes out, you all respec to get the felguard...the doomguard is not very impressive!
