just a question bout lock play, lol
Just joined a 25man raid guild. never been past kara yet, lol. just wondering, when you are playing with 3 or 4 other locks in your raid, how easy is it to cordinate your build and cast rotation with their's? I know i have played with other locks in 5-mans, that will not even dot the boss, just sb the whole time. thank you |

ok, if you're in a guild with these guys and are going to raid like weekly, i would suggest setting up some sort of talent build coordination. One of you should spec 3/3 malediction for the curse of shadows bonus (he will have curse of shadows duty), and the 3 of you should each spec a different kind of healthstone because you can have one of each in your inventory (0/2, 1/2, 2/2). Lastly, one person should spec into 3/3 improved imp to keep the tank at maximum hp. As for coordination in spell rotation, it really doesnt matter other than if you have a destro lock in the mix, in which case i would tell him to cos and then cast...

One lock should go 5/5 shadow embrace as well, the 5% damage mitigation for your tank really adds up over the course of an encounter. (Turns an 8k crushing into a 7.6k crushing)

We had no rules conserning builds, we have 4 locks, 3 destro and me hybrid affiction. I'm always in MT group due to having the imp out. We do have different healthstones |

lol, understand that. talking to other locks in shatt, spoke to one who was full t5, said he 1200 spl, and hit capped. when i starting talking builds and play style though, he said "oh, idk man, I just press buttons, lol". I asked if he was on cos duty being he was 3/3 maledication. he's answer was, "whats curse of shadow?, never tried that one". just seems alot of locks, when asked, answer this way. |
