RLF are good and bad in raids I rolled a lock because My RLF said we needs locks and ill take you to anyraid we will gear you up fast.... Well it didnt happen by the time I was gear for SSC and TK they started to do BT and MH and well kara epics are not good enough for MH and BT if the rest of the raid is all T5 and stuff. You have 3 options 1) Change the server and start a different char diffrent faction so you cant transfer back. 2) Quit Wow ( which I am considering to do) 3) Play with your RLF and start hating wow.( Which happens to me) While they raid and do stuff you can do very interesting things like fishing or grinding motes of shadow

Or even take a hiatus till Wrath of the Lich King and when you play then you'll all start at the same point... Which reminds me, at the OP.. Is your guild casual? My guild doesn't force builds on people. However those who are serious about raiding will spec right. Because we're casuals who make allowances for people, don't force you to raid etc, but at the same time, the raid master will make sure he takes a strong team (not always the absolute strongest, so everyone gets a chance, but he's turned people down for the wrong gear or because they have a pvp build, and in both cases someone more suitable is available and it was an instance we were progressing on). If you're unable to raid hardcore, you'll have to accept some degree of compromise somewhere. Though perhaps this guild has the wrong degree of compromise. There's another possibility exluding ISB being eaten, given your dps drop when their alive it could be that your CoS is being pushed off by their dots. Now way of telling without observing it though as its not logged by WWS. Admittedly would only explain 140 dps drop not the huge drop your getting. Might want to try rank 1 CoS as it has higher priority than all the other dots.
