My Gear, Graphs, Meters for Leo...
I just posted this in the Leo thread.. but felt like it might get overlooked.. and I haven't seen any other posts with as much detail or potentially helpful information EXCLUDING strategy (which I leave to the veterans). So.. please feel free to comment, correct, suggest, etc.. At least gimme a few comments before you delete or move this thread  --- BEGIN REPOST FROM LEO THREAD: Click Here to goto Leo thread --- /start bragging; We started SSC 3 weeks ago.. raiding it only Tuesdays due to complications in getting the proper group gathered for Thursdays. (Basically we've been to SSC 3 times): 1st Night: No Kills.. attempted Hyrdross/1 attempt on Lurker. 2nd Night: 3 shot Hydross / 3 shot Lurker 3rd Night: 2 shot Hydross / 2 shot Lurker / 3 shot Leo So we downed Leo on first night of attempts. 2 wipes, then the kill /end bragging; Click Here for a link to my character fully buffed (minus Fel Pup 70FR): My Stats: (Fully Buffed) HP: 14.7k FR: 375 Capped (it may be wrong on the link.. but it's capped) damage (Fire): 1151 Crit: 37.52% (searing pain) Hit: 96.1% hit (Could always swap Xi'ri Trink for Scryers Trink to cap that) Spec: 0/40/21 With CoE / Scorch / SL my Searing Pain was hitting between 800 - 1000, critting no higher than 1,950. Granted I never popped a trinket like I should have. I had a 43k lead on threat at one time.. although tha'ts mainly because we were a bit apprehensive at first. I was able to hold aggro easily with 2 hunters pulling over 1000 dps in demon form. But I will say.. the 1 or 2 misses that I had.. I noticed the Hunters jump a little on me in threat.. so I am a full believer in close to capping that +Hit. Here is a link to the stats for our first kill. And here is a damage graph of what my dps looked like while I tanked. I wanna say we killed Leo in 4 minutes.. it seemed really fast. I tanked 3 demon forms.. then he went demon for the third time.. but then immediately went into the split phase.. it was kinda weird. LINKS: Leo Damage Meters (I personally parse the log file to edit out erroneus data. Then I process it with a tool which you can find HERE. From what I can tell... it does a GREAT job accurately depicting Warlock numbers. I can't speak as much for other classes since I don't know them as well.) Damage Graph for Soulo (Also a perk of using the tool mentioned above)  p.s. Yes I realize this graph points out that my Curse of Dooms were WAY late..lol. But hey.. it was my first attempt. We are going again tonight to see how far can get.. maybe 4 or 5 bosses

Glad you downed him he is a pretty easy fight as long as your raid doesnt freak out at the end :D Get through the rest of SSC and onto the good stuff. |

First of all grats on the success. Second of all, WHAT?! I haven't looked at it too hard, but I don't really understand the graph. The x-axis is the time in seconds of the fights, and the red lines are your damage? I think something else you could show (not sure if you have the data) is how hard you increasingly got hit for. I think that's more useful than how much damage you were doing. |

The numbers on the left side.. show how much damage each peak represents. So you can visualize crits, hits, beginnings, and ends of phases. Also lets you see when your CoD hits (which I was WAY off). Efficiency? I never bothered with efficiency on that fight, since it's not really a "test your limits fight". Most importantly, don't die. haha. Anyway, gz. |

(DISCLAIMER: Normally I'm the traditional destro spec.. but.. damn.. fire is fun.. so i'm playing with it) 70 Undead Warlock Just pop a +4 Void Sphere in the shoulders blue slot which seems to mess up warcrafter.net and you are FR capped w/o fel puppy and setup to do some awesome damage. (now if I can only get my head to drop from ZA I can turn my T4 head into a FR piece)
