question about MH/BT

hey i just got a quick question.
i can see that you can buy shadow resist parretns at ashtongue quartermaster so my questions is:

1. where is the quartermaster?
2. is the resist gear needed for MH/BT?

Re: question about MH/BT

1. Inside BT.
2. Needed for Mother S in BT, helpful for bosses 3&4 MH.

Re: question about MH/BT

The MH quartermaster is just inside the instance. The BT quartermaster is in the central area after supremus. Once you've killed supremus you can talk to the guy at the entrance and tp to the quartermaster.

Also for MH you need the 2 min cd PVP trinket Isignia of the Horde/Alliance for Rage and for Archimonde. Granted you don't NEED it for either but most guilds require it for the sheer fact that you can die in either fight without it.

No you need 2 bosses down to get the recipes. Najentus and Supremus.

Re: question about MH/BT

use about 150 SR for Anetheron and the boss that drains mana... Azrogal? to get the resists but you don't need the patterns. The neck piece, a three socketed helm with Void Spheres, LC SR head enchant is good to go.

Will of the Forsaken ftw for the Archimonde fight. Your very own 2min PVP trinket.

Re: question about MH/BT

You only NEED resists in MH as a healer and maybe a mage. Kazrogal(the mana drain boss) is a dps race not a resist race. The most you'll need on him to help is PoSP. Same goes for Anetheron. Otherwise you gimp your dps and them and screw the raid. Some people also wear it on Azgalor(the doom casting silencing boss) to resist the silences, but really the dps loss is not worth it.

Also if you OOM as a lock and blow someone up there is something wrong(on Kazrogal)

Re: question about MH/BT

Well considering this, you don't ever even have to set foot in BT/MH to get the sr gear. It is all BoE not counting the neck which is a quest reward. The mat requirements are steep though: 18 primal shadow, 14 primal lifes, 5 void crystals, 9 hearts of darkness, and some imbued netherweave.

As a lock SR gear is completely unnecessary in Mount Hyjal. You don't need it until you hit Mother Shahraz really. Even in that case you can probably just skip the pants. (most guilds seem to because they require the most hearts)
