easiest picking for heroic badges?

I'm on a quest now to gear up for T5-T6 content. I just need another 277 more heroic badges and I'm totally set on my gear LOL. No seriously I do.

I estimate it to take me about 8-9 weeks to gather that many.

For badges what would you say is the easiest raids and instances to be running to accomplish this. Also take into consideration the popularity of certain instances doesn't matter how easy it its.. if you can't easily find a pug then it wouldn't be on the list.

Strong contenders right now seem to Kara, H-Bot, H-SP, H-SH. Basicaly where would you be able to scratch up a group the easiest and do a full clear.

Re: easiest picking for heroic badges?

Kara, H-SV, H-Mec and H-Ramps are the badge runs on Llane alliance as far as I can tell.

SV because you can dodge many of the pulls, Mech for the 4 badges and Ramps.. well not sure. haven't been in heroic ramps for a while.

Re: easiest picking for heroic badges?

SP is the shortest with easy 3 badges if you know the short cuts. (45mins or so)

UB is a little more than an 1 hr.

Mech is very easy 4 badges too but Kara is the best 3 hrs for 22 badges.

Re: easiest picking for heroic badges?

Don't underestimate the value of the daily heroic quest. The added two badges make (almost) anything worth running. Plus it's usually pretty easy to find a group for the daily.

But yes, Kara> all.

On a side note: how has ppls luck been with getting badges from the daily Shattered Sun packages? Just wondering because I got one the very first quest I ever did, and have yet to see one since

Re: easiest picking for heroic badges?

Since you are doing this to get into T5/6 content, i HIGHLY recommend you grind exalted with shatar and cenarion expedition and scale of sands. That way once you are ready you can use the flasks from shatt (get your scryer/aldor rep up new dailies make that a little easier) when you raid. Also, you will be able to port to Hyjal.

The more you challenge yourself in heroics the easier the transition to raiding will be. The cenarion heroics are all fairly easy if you have a decent group. Mech is fairly easy as is Ramps. Other than that I can't think of anything simple. The daily is almost always worth it as the previous poster said.

Re: easiest picking for heroic badges?

Kara is a definite given...22 badges for ~3 hours...yes please!

Those above have given great advice in regards to specific instances. They pretty much mirror my personal selections. However, I do want to emphasize Levinho's advice - Try to be forward thinking when it comes to running heroics. Heroics should be done for both badges and reputation. Mix-up your heroic runs to ensure that you are also maximizing your reputation potential.

Re: easiest picking for heroic badges?

All the Coilfang instances are quick. Mech and Ramps are easy but the trash annoys me. I never pass up Botanica if it's the daily, 7 badges and can be done in around an hour with a decent group. A Gruul+Maggy run takes about 2 hours and nets 8 badges which is pretty good.

Re: easiest picking for heroic badges?

with the right group (pally tank, lots of aoe - SoC ftw) heroic SH can be run in an hour and gives 5 badges.
when it's the daily 7 badges for an hour's work is a wonderful thing.

Re: easiest picking for heroic badges?

I like doing kara, with the right group you can get it done in one sitting and nab 22 badges. Also look at doing H-SV, H-UB and H-Mech.
