As far as a remember, and i could be wrong thats about it.
Ignoring hs and ss
Everyone else has better buffs than ours. We wont be called to a raid for our buffs, thats for sure.

On a second note, there isnt anything remotely close to shamans totems and heroism, or the moonkin aura, or even the mages 10% crit debuff. A raid without these 3 classes, is gimped for sure.

But then again, im not even close to being worried about losing a raid spot.

I think the idea Blizzard is trying to get across is that only a few players in a raid need to actually bring a useful buff (say maybe 5 players in a 25 man). The other 20 in that raid will then be chosen based on non-raid-buff factors like how available they are, how well they play, how much people like them, etc.

It's better than having to select a cookie cutter raid build based on a fix group of classes solely for their buffs.

I know they're not the best in class buffs but they do fill rolls.
Imp Sta doesn't stack with Commanding Shout, Demonic Pact doesn't stack with Shaman totem.

That's all fine and having 2 classes capable of providing that buffslot is what Bliz intended. But Fortitude stacks with everything, Heroism also stacks with everything. Both buffs are only castable by 1 class and both are very powerful to the point that you want that class along just for that buff.
That's exactly what that OP's blue quote refers to. So unless the GM was lying we should expect a sort-of heroism and a sort-of fortitude on other classes soon, or those two nerfed in some way that they either don't stack with something else or their use heavily marginalized compared to their current effect.

/edit
I'm not all too worried about the lock slot on raids either. All our raiders are addicted to Healthstones and the ease of summons. If for nothing else our RL needs a lock in the raid for when he's slacking again or forgot stuff in the bank :P.
