Re: Corruption Worth It?
No I am saying, thats its an issue between two people. Not really about mana or numbers or global-cooldowns. And not just to warlocks. It happens between any class and their class leader. Other posts came dreadfully close to "calling the OP a moron/idiot or telling him to re-roll or "L2play"" They're dubbing one or the other right or wrong. Really the class leader and him should sit down and have a chat. I'm not saying the class leader is a bad lock! I'm saying he needs to be more mature as a class leader. I'm not suggesting that anyone needs to "gg uninstall" ..according to the lingo I apparently use. Glance up to Modhi's post, he's on the mark. Please consider my views and responses. I am sorry if I offended. Last edited by Mire; September 20, 2006 at 11:48 AM.. |

Re: Corruption Worth It?
Actually, my impression is that the OP is asking if corruption is really worth it, and in the same breath, venting about the tyranical methods of his class leader. To allow the class leader to influence what spells you cast, when they are inefficient and less effective then others, would not only be doing your raid a disservice, but your class leader a disservice as well. If I was the warlock class leader in my guild, and was insisting on people using CoW, I would much rather have someone show me I was wrong rather then make an ass out of myself to each new recruit, and potentially think the guild doesn't know what it's doing. The fact still stands, corruption is a waste of mana, cast time, and a loss in damage on ZG trash mobs. You would be contributing more to the raid with other nukes. ZG isn't a big deal, but a fundamental misunderstanding of efficiency in a raid setting will only become a larger problem in higher level instances, especially in smaller raid parties. There are ways to communicate without belittling or being confrontational, but to roll over is a bad idea in any situation where you know your right. |
