Warlock PVP Macros

Wanted to put together a short PVP macro listing of the various macros that I’ve used in the past (and some I still do) for various Warlock specs. This is by no means a complete listing, but several of the macros that have helped me survive many a battleground.

Healing Macro

This is my macro I use when getting torn apart by a rogue or warrior. When I’ve lost 10-12K health, I trinket out of the stuns and use this macro to buff back up. Now it’s payback time.

This is a 1 button tap that will give you; depending on your spec, up to 15K health. Demon armor is cast first to increase the health generated by 20%. I macro Battlemaster’s Bravery to give me a quick 3385 health along with a talented Healthstone and a healing potion. Any trinket that gives you a health buff or shield can be substituted. I used to use Darkmoon Card: Illusion until I got enough Honor points to buy the Battlemaster’s Bravery trinket.

/stopcasting
/cast Demon Armor
/use [target=player] Fel Healthstone
/use Battelmaster’s Bravery
/use runic healing potion

Bandage Macro

After the fight is over I use this macro to apply bandages. It just saves me from worrying about who is targeted. You wouldn’t believe how many times I’ve bandaged someone else by mistake.

/stopcasting
/cast Demon Armor
/use [target=player] Heavy Frostweave Bandage

Defence Macro

This is again a 1 button tap that I use when I see a charging warrior, a rogue going into stealth or a DK coming towards me. In one click it uses Battlemaster’s Bravery (3385 health gain) if not on cool down; (otherwise it just skips it), casts VW sacrifice for an 10,855 K shield if talented, and cast Shadow Ward (875 Shadow damage). That is over 15K health that they have to eat through before getting to me. Other than the trinket cooldown (2 min) you can use this macro every 30 secs. The sacrifice and shadow ward are 30 second spells with a 1 minute cool down, so when they come off you can recast the whole sequence every 30 seconds.

#showtooltip
/script UIErrorsFrame:Hide()
/console Sound_EnableSFX 0
/use Battlemaster’s Bravery
/console Sound_EnableSFX 1
/cast [pet:voidwalker] sacrifice
/cast shadow ward

Felguard Macro

You can substitute Felguard with any pet, but this is the Macro I loved when I had the big guy watching my back. A 1 button tap casts your Felguard summon spell using fel domination, if not on cool down (if it is it just skips it and summons the Felguard normally) and casts soul link. Never forget to soul link your pet again.

#showtooltip Summon Felguard
/script UIErrorsFrame:Hide()
/console Sound_EnableSFX 0
/cast fel Domination
/cast summon felguard
/cast soul link
/console Sound_EnableSFX 1

Fight Macro

This is the macro I use when engaging a target. It is a 2 button tap (meaning you have to push the button twice) but it sends your pet in to attack immediately, gets two curses on the target, and a frostweave net to keep them where they are for 3 seconds (when not on cooldown). This gives me enough time to then either fear them or go for more damage using immolate them and conflagrate. There in a world of hurt after this.

If you’re not a tailor then just delete the /use frostweave net line. If you want to use a trinket add /use 13 or /use 14 under the /castsequence line. Any curse can be substituted. I use Curse of Agony because this macro is great for WG when you have 20 targets in front of you. Just tab and tap and as they fall the Honor comes rolling in.

#showtooltip corruption
/script UIErrorsFrame:Hide()
/console Sound_EnableSFX 0
/petattack
/castsequence reset=combat target curse of agony,corruption
/use frostweave net
/console Sound_EnableSFX 1

If anyone else has their own macros that they use, would love to hear about them!

Re: Warlock PVP Macros

Wow, I can't believe I never thought about quick-switching to Demon armor before healing. I'm terrible at making macros, is there a way to modify the healing macro to put Fel Armor back on you after pot/HS/Bandage? I'm guessing it just needs a castsequence action, but I'm not sure how to put it in the proper syntax.

Thanks again!

Here's a list of just about any self-healing you'll run across @ 80, copy and paste for a 1-button heal, or add/modify to roll your own macros:

/use Fel Healthstone
/use Battlemaster’s Bravery
/use runic healing potion
/use healing potion injector
/use super healing potion
/use endless healing potion

Macro below is now a 2 button tap.
On first tap the macro will cast Demon Armor for the 20% buff; use all available health pots (health stone, runic healing potion, any trinkets and a potion injector) and skip any that you don't have.
Second tap will restore Fel Armor. 253 out of 255 possible characters used.

/stopcasting
/castsequence Demon Armor,fel armor
/script UIErrorsFrame:Hide()
/console Sound_EnableSFX 0
/use [target=player] Fel Healthstone
/use Battlemaster's Bravery
/use runic healing potion
/use healing potion injector
/console Sound_EnableSFX 1
