Updates to the PTR Patch Notes
Here's the latest for locks on the PTR, along with a clarification of the 'change' to ISB: Talents:
Clarifying the change to ISB: It was originally reported as a bug fix before being moved to the Warlock section of the notes. It probably better belongs in the Bug Fixes section for warlocks. I believe it was just a matter of slightly redefining the way it scales based on the number of points placed in this talent, while the end result is the same. Full thread here |

Re: Updates to the PTR Patch Notes
I'm a bit confused about the Immolate and UA fix. What exactly would be overwritten? |

Re: Updates to the PTR Patch Notes
immo and UA can't be on the same mob so I'm guessing currently rank X immo and rank Y UA stacks which isn't working as intended ( or they broke something in a previous PTR push and this is to correct it) |

Re: Updates to the PTR Patch Notes
It could also be that rank 1 UA will now overwrite ANY rank of immo and vice versa |

Re: Updates to the PTR Patch Notes
At the moment, if I have immolate on a target, I can not cast UA. It says "a higher ranked spell is active". Not the other way around: if UA is on a target I can cast immolate and it will override it. I assume this will fix that. The change to ISB is basically a non-issue I believe, people speccing 5/5 points into it now, are probably not going to decide to put fewer points into it because of the change. Would it be worth it to have a 60 or 80% chance instead of 100% for a 5% increase in crit to move those points to some other place and, if so, where? I don't think so. |

Re: Updates to the PTR Patch Notes
Does the ISB still do the additional 5% shadow bolt spell damage in addition to the scaling crit %? I don't see it mentioned anywhere.
