Hotfixes to patch 3.2.2

While you were enjoying your server lag, you may have noticed a new fix:

Soulstone Resurrection now fades upon entering raid combat if the character who cast it is not present.

What do you mean undocumented? This was part of the 3.2.2 patch notes

I can tell you why they did it. We used this a bit. If you are struglling on a fight say faction champs we always had a group 6 ( those would werent in raid but also getting dkp point for beingon standyby) Anyways every lock you got on standyby is another soulstone that could be used on someone that was in the raid fighting. Or really any lock you could get to come there and do it!! So technically you have everyone ss in the fight with no locks inside. Well NOT ANYMORE!!!

Some guilds pull more than 25/10 into raid and the extra members hang out outside, pvp, fish, etc.

Since the extra members are technically part of the raid, they can cast their buffs on those actually fighting. The entire raid would leave the instance whenever their buffs needed refreshing.

I guess you could technically SS everybody in the raid this way, if you had enough locks.

Now why they'd just prevent this with SS's, I'm not sure.

Because soul stones played a role in 1st world kills in some fights.

max 40 people per raid

25man = 25ppl

15 remaining. 15 warlock means you can SS your healers, your tanks and some of your dps. couple with rebirth and you're looking at players potentially having 3x health bars ( die once => SS => die another => rebirth )

In that case, they should also strip any other buffs you received prior to entering the raid, to be fair.

But then locks wouldn't be "special". Like we are so perfect we barely showed up in the 3.2.2 patch
