Looks like they are encouraging Meta/Ruin, or atleast giving the spec more viability. |

hmm... the haste 4pc bonus sounded much more interesting... 10% damage buff sounds like a lot. Just assume a 30% uptime (6-7 immolate ticks) and you get a 3% dps increase. |

Well combined with the conflag nerf i think overall this will be a small buff to our dps. I certainly think it will benefit demonology, and it will be interesting to see where it comes on the simcraft meters once the patch hits. |

The 2 piece seem much more balanced than the T9 2 Piece, as T9 has just about 0 effect on Affliction dps, but T10 definitely is not as nice for Destruction. The 4 piece change is better, since 10% damage should be much higher than 12% haste. Plus, I know I'm close to being haste capped during BL/Backdraft and I'm sure another 12% would push me over if this proc'd at the same time. |

I don't think the 4PC will be so great for affliction now. Correct me if I'm wrong but wont the damage increase only effect new dots applied. IE the buff goes off while all the dots are already applied will not benefit. Only new dots applied? That's another problem if true with affliction. It does not benefit the same way from some of the cool proc's and damage increasing effects. Am I wrong? |

Corruption sort of responds to cool procs and the like when it is refreshed by haunt which should happen at least once in this buff but unstable affliction will require a little bit of luck and curse of agony a bit more. Ultimately though I still think it's a great set bonus. |
