PTR Patch 3.3 Updates 10/20

More bits for Warlocks to chew on in the latest PTR build. The notes themselves can be found here.

Affliction

Shadow Mastery: This talent now also increases the damage done by the felhunter’s Shadow Bite ability by 3/6/9/12/15%.

Demonology

Molten Core: Redesigned. This talent now increases the duration of Immolate by 3/6/9 seconds and provides a 4/8/12% chance to gain the Molten Core effect when Corruption deals damage. The Molten Core effect empowers the next 3 Incinerate or Soul Fire spells cast within 15 seconds (Incinerate: increases damage done by 6/12/18% and reduces cast time by 10/20/30%; Soul Fire: increases damage done by 6/12/18% and increases critical strike chance by 5/10/15%). Molten Core now has a new spell effect.

Destruction

Conflagrate: Redesigned. This talent now consumes an Immolate or Shadowflame effect on the enemy target to instantly deal damage equal to 9 seconds of Immolate or 8 seconds of Shadowflame, and causes additional damage over 3 seconds equal to 3 seconds of Immolate or 2 seconds of Shadowflame. In addition, the periodic damage of Conflagrate is capable of critically striking the afflicted target.

Coud	Re: PTR Patch 3.3 Updates 10/20 blizzard to affliction warlocks: "USE THE FEL PUP" can't really tell what happened with the other buffs conflag dot crits now as opposed to before where it didn't?

lilsteele Character Info lilsteele 80 Human Warlock Terenas Euro PvE	Re: PTR Patch 3.3 Updates 10/20 It's nice to see the fine tuning that they are doing on the destro and affliction side. It kinda shows that the specs are where they want them to be, and I think they are in a good shape overall (PvE that its). On the other hand, Demonology gets messier and messier... although it might be fun to play... should give a bit better dps though for a hell of a rotation.

And i'm pointing at the 40/31 one again. Whoever picks MC will never cast a SB as a filler. I see no pet buffs as well so having FG instead of our already slightly improved conflag (now its dots crit apparently) makes no sense. I like there changes but they leave me thinking that deep demo still isn't quite raid viable when compared. I'll stay around to be gladly proven wrong, however.

Ade

I imagine the actual enchants you purchase (such as the sons of hodir shoulder enchant) will keep the level requirement but its now BOA. This change is more for alts who just dinged 80 and you dont feel like putting 2weeks into farming rep again.

Liche Character Info Liche 80 Undead Warlock Sporeggar Euro RP PvP Guild: Blackout Profile: Blizzard Armory Talent Spec: 0/13/58	Re: PTR Patch 3.3 Updates 10/20 Immo lasting longer(24secs as opposed to 15) increases it's dpct by allot(like a third?), though instead of casting it 4 times a min in pve, you now only cast it 2.5 times which is a 2 gcd saving per min? for an MC proc you need 8.33 ticks of corr, or 25 seconds, however, if you factor in the new corr haste then this should be proc'ing a bit quicker. is there an internal cd to this proc?
