incinerate, chaos bolt if it is off cooldown. Never really thought about soul fire... I think it's still a pretty long cast and you burn through your shards, so I don't think its such a good idea... |

First off, thank you Fallenman, since I've discovered you I've been playing with these specs and have gotten huge dps increases. I typically run your ISL destro build, which is destroying all the other specs at my current gear level, I'm hitting 4k often now and want to get to those theoretical 7k numbers, but I haven't seen any locks actually do it on my server yet (according to recount anyway) Anyway I wanted to enphasize a point you already made about having a meta utility, while it does not offer the straight up boss damage as destro (except yes for a couple seconds when you first transform an run in) it is crazy useful as an offspec utility for: 1. demonic pact when their's no enhancement shammy around (which happens all the time) 2. demo survivability, i.e. tanking 25 man 4 horse is quite doable. 3. insane periodic aoe nukes. This is an underenphasized aspec of this build. On boss fights with periodic trash attacks, (such as Noth) having a geared meta lock allows for some quick and super massive aoe (via immolate auro, charge, hellfire) which will actually pull adds to you and allow you to tank them until a warrior notices and pulls them off. This helps a lot getting the raid out of situations where adds have built up to much. (just make sure your healer knows your planning on doing this, cuz you will be tanking for a couple seconds). It's also great if you wanna be the jerk who tops the dps meters on the trash clearing pulls too, switch to meta during trash, switch back to destro for the boss. |

Hi all lurked here a longtime only starting to post and had a question about builds but cant make a topic yet so figured I would ask here, I am currently in ulduar only 10 man tiny guild and all and have had to pass on alot of sure upgrades, why you might ask? Well that would be because of cursed hit rating I am 13/58 destro and am at 17.08% hit rating now I understand the extra mana gained from ISL=less lifetap=more dps but would speccing into supression to allow me to get better upgrades be a good idea or will more lifetaps= less dps? |

i tried a new raid build heavy demonology and i want your opinion,i tried to measure its dps and was good,i think! http://talent.mmo-champion.com/?warl...0&version=9901 and i used Felguard or http://talent.mmo-champion.com/?warl...0&version=9901 and use Succubus!!! The second one doesnt seem so good to me so i didnt tried it but its an idea!!also the nice thing about that buid was the roration since i only used CoE and spam SB and used Demonic Empowerment and Metamorphosis at every CD!!(reminded to me the good times of demonic sacrifice/spam SB)I tried to use immolation aura but i think its difficult for boss fights since you must close to the target to do damage but its nice for aoe damage Last edited by Lildemon; July 25, 2009 at 10:19 PM.. |

You are missing two important DPS talents, Decimation and Molten Core. Remove the 3 points from Cataclysm and 1 from Master Summoner or Mana Feed to get 2/3 Molten Core and 2/2 Decimation.
