Hello i was just curious is anyone still using the 0/41/30 spec for end game raiding? (if so how is id going ?)(Uld) just curious ive seen so many destro locks as of late

I'm using a 0/40/31 spec, it's very nice dps. it's always a brainless 3 button fight tough ;) but topping 4k dps in naxx25 in valorous gear (fully raid buffed ofcourse) my spec edit: i use the imp. always

I still try the 0/41/30 in raids (25) but it just does not compete with my dual spec deep destrustion dps. I really like 0/41/30 with fel guard and still use it for dailies and questing, but (sigh!) I do miss raiding with it. |

i use 0/41/30 but i am trying to find another spec in deep destro to use for raiding and i cant seem to get as much dps as i do with with the 0/41/30 spec |

I used be 0/41/30 but could not keep up when I changed to a more serious raiding guild. I was top of the meters all the time but dps dropped off a lot and I needed a fix. I am now 3/14/54. I was struggling with the new spec until I got SpellPriority and I am now doing much better.

I still use this spec for raiding. My guild is currently working on 25 man Ulduar and I throw down fairly decent dps, usually in the 4 to 4.5k range. Fully raid buffed and flasked you can do a lot of damage with this spec as long as you have your rotation down. |

Just curious for those of you that have used both, is this 41/30 spec "better" than the deep destro spec in terms of dps? Which do you prefer and why? I was respeccing for what I liked most before, but have my pvp spec for that I guess. I only use my pve spec in raids now and wanted to know which was "best". Thank you. |

I pump out more dps as deep destro in this patch. Last patch was all about 41/30. But I easily do about 500-800 more dps as deep destro. The cast rotation is quite a bit more complex though. 41/30 doesn't have any raid buffs either. Deep destro at least proc's Replinishment for group mana regen. |

Thanks. I was in an Ulduar raid the other day and a 41/30 was pumping out around 4-4.5k dps where as I was only getting around 3800 as deep destro. Is there a certain numeric value that a person should have for say sp and crit to really get everything out of deep destro? I may try out the 41/30 and see how it goes. I am tempted to go back to Affliction.. I haven't really raided with that in a long time, but almost every warlock I know tells me its not worth it;( (i keep it my pvp spec though for fun )

Affliction isn't scaling well in 3.1 and Tier 8. I'm in about 2/3 Tier 8 gear now, and 3800 is a good boss fight for me. But since I was putting out about 3100 back in Tier 7 gear, I'm not very pleased with the results. 0/41/30 on the other hand, seems to scale a lot better then pure affliction. |
