Another Honor nerf?

I was hearing rumors yesterday about yet another honor nerf today. I was curious if any others here were hearing the same.

I also wanted to say I disagree with even the first honor nerf. This gear may be purple but it has green stats when compared to BC gear. Why not let us gear up with a decent set of greens to take on the new content?

I also am very irritated that Blizzard thought things out so poorly. They gave hardcore players a full week of higher honor to grab their set and go back to PVE or whatever they choose. While they nerf honor so that casual players get stuck in the grind even longer. Thanks blizzard

Another poorly thought out aspect of the system is marks. I have marks rotting in my bank and fully expect to have every PVP mount in the game long before completing my HWL set since you buy those for marks alone. Why not give us a sink for the marks, it would have been easy enough to keep the turn ins for marks and give us maybe 10 hp per mark. this just smacks of sloppy design.

ya they did kinda go half ****ed on this idea they should have saw this coming from miles aways, but i have heard nothing of another honor nerfing.what i think they could have done is not nerf honor but make things need more tokens and maybe a bit more honor, and it would have been fine

They ought to let us trade tokens for other tokesn on a 3-1 basis or even trade tokens for honor 10 per 100 honor or something.

I bet I have had over 100 AV tokens rot in my mail as I dont need em but thats where the best honor gain is. grrrrrr

I'm would hesitate to start jumping on Blizzard's back for correcting the rate of progression on these items. It's not like they were plotting to give hardcore PvPers a free week... they miscalculated, these things happen. You've tried to figure out what 7 million players are going to do in your online game, right?

The change has been overwhelmingly beneficial to casual players, over all. Let's give them the benefit of the doubt... killing the honor decay and rank ladder has bought quite a lot of affection from me, and 50 Sesobael tokens, which can be used to purchase Happiness rewards.

I don't think the rate needed correcting is my issue. Even with the pre nerfed HP rate i would not have a set of HWL before BC hits & at that point this stuff is no longer uber and not worth the time put into it.

Heres an example of the current spellblade compared to some Similar BC items.

You see what i mean? and this is just the spellblade, i could show you blues for all your slots that blow away the current purple HWL stuff.

My point: There is no reason to make these greens so hard to get. A purple green is still a green.

PS I like the HWL stuff and am getting as much as i can as starter gear for BC.
