Once while doing my nightly Local Defense patrol in the Redridge Mountains, I spotted a level. 16 priest running towards Burning Steps, so I raced ahead of her and asked her to stop. Then I told her that if she went any further she would be a "very dead priest indeed". I also escorted her back to town just in case anything had respawned along the way again.

To make a long story short, the next day I get a very nice thank you letter from a Grand Marshall along with 50g. It turns out that the priest was his 16 y/o daughter playing on a seperate account and got very lost and was very thankful for my help. It made me feel like I did something worthwhile, well that and killing those two Horde that attacked Redridge later on ....

I still run other warlocks through Dire maul for thier dreadsteed quest since I have the mats, thus saving them 250g and usually a couple level 70 friends tag along as well. I hate DIRE MAUL with a passion now, I cringe at the thought of going back, but I still do because I really did have a rough time with my quest.
