I met a real sweet guy last night
My title is sarcastic. But couldnt think of anything to write that wouldnt get me banned. Last night when I finally managed to log on after hours of frustration after the patch. I went to finish an escort quest in darkshire. This is on my new Gnome Warlock who was level 21 at this point. Well I start the quest and I get a 'can you summon me for 1g plz'. Since the request was polite I look the player up and see they are a level 20 gnome warlock. I therefore reply that I'm in middle of darkshire no other players around and I'm doing a hard escort. I thought that would be that. This guy then tells me to find two players as he is on a warlock quest and needs to get to darkshire. I tell him he'll have to wait about 10 mins then I'll see what I can do. He then says 'SUMMON ME' and issues a group join. Being new to allliance and trying to be nice I explain the situation again while tryng hard not to die and keep my excort alive. He then gets quite aggressive. I should have ignored I know but I tried to be nice. He then kept spamming group join and abusing me for declining. So I just concentrated on my quest. This guy keeps spamming group join. My escort dies and I've wasted a lot of time. This guy then sends 'You are a @##$$ing dick you #$$%%%'. I was speachless. This guy was another Warlock so I expected better. Really made me want to chuck alliance in and go back to my own server and go kill gnomes.Where do these sort of guys come from ? |

Today I had something like this happen to me... sort of. But not as annoying. I was in burning steppes doing the Dragonling essence or something along those lines. I get a whisper asking me to summon his friend, I'm usually a nice guy so I agree to summon. I tell him to come to me and then we'll summon. Well he comes and I'm in the middle of killing one of the dragons and after killing it he jumps in and loots the crystal! I had been doing the quest for quite a while waiting for the dragons to respawn and I was a little frustrated. I told him not to do it again but after killing another dragon he proceeds to loot the crystal again! His friend had already been summoned by then so they just kick me out. I know it's not as bad as your situation but it's just really annoying that people would do this sort of stuff. From now on, I will not summon random people or people who use any sort of abbreviation in their whisper. (summ mee plz.) |

Man, I feel for you. My problem was just annoyance. But yours really shows how low some people can go. I guess we both know from now on ignore straight away. |

Exactly. After I was kicked out I immediately put the guy on my ignore list so I can remember the scumbag. And it wasn't just him that was being stupid, his friend was a 65 (ish) warrior and he didn't even say anything. |

any requests for a summon just gets ignored by me unless they actuall yarticulate their request in a nice polite manner some people are just 'tards |

Just say you didn't train summon or better yet, tell him you aren't specced for it. |
