best things to farm for cash @70
so i dinged 70 last night and i respecced to affliction as was my plan all along. also i have like 850 something shadow damage which isnt bad and the only other piece of frozen shadoweave that i need is the robe. right now im working on battlecast and girdle of ruination so that i can get my damage a little bit higher. my question is...what is the absolute best way to make money for my epic flying mount. i already have about 1000 right now so i just need that last 4000. my thinking was to farm heroic slave pens or dire maul (lawl 60) or maybe something else. my professions are tailoring and enchanting so i cant skin or mine or anything like that. i dont have a problem with farming (actually i find it kinda fun at 70 with affliction) but i do have a problem with playing the auction house so please dont suggest that... ...anyways, i hope my wall of text didnt crit you for a million damage any help would be appreciated thanks, pup

Just a hint, but choose a Title that says what you mean in the post.. You title says: I know the best things to farm for cash at level 70 You post says: Can you please tell me the best places/stuff to farm for cash? And and answer to your post: no I'm sorry I don't, if I did I would have my epic flyer

Re: best things to farm for cash @70
daily's in skettis and ogrila. the ogrila quest line can be tough to get some of the groupies done but if you have a good guild it shouldn't be a prob. my guild is currently doing 6 of the 10 daily's and that makes each of us about 70g/g for about 1hr's work. its funny we hit the places in 3 groups of 5. take over each spwn for the follow in skettis and the allies just see us all fly in and run. love it. |

There is a rare spawn that can always be found in strat. Cant remember his name but i have a macro to select him. He spawns in 1 of 3 places 2 of which are right as you enter. The third requires you to kill a boss first which isn't hard either. Always drops blues that can be DE's into a shard. If you have to kill the boss you get 2. I get back with his name. |

As mentioned, Daily quests. And also whatever primals that are not crowded. (Fire and water sells well on my server, 25-30g each) As a tailorer sell all the Spell and mooncloth you make and don't really buy stuff from AH for other reasons that to sell them for more. Play the market (Buy cheap, sell for more) That's the best advice I can give you.

Hearthsinger is his name and by farming him and resetting the instance for the max number of times i get more than 150 gold in a around an hour. but then you get locked out till the next day. After that daily quests. |

Re: best things to farm for cash @70
3 things i see players do for quick cash: - Strat spawn, SM chest (any time you want) - Primal farm (do it in early morning or really late at midnight. Recommend Fire, Water and Mana) - Dailies (same like primal farm. Sometimes just too many people do daily quest at the same time that you do not have enough mob to finish it in a reasonable time). |

Quote:
no matter what kind you farm or where you farm it, the drop rate is never as good as of other things you can farm. I recently farmed out my epic flyer and here's exactly what i did: 1. I farmed out the primals (2x fire, 1 mana, 1 water, 1 life) and made my cloths (primal mooncloth, Shadowcloth, and Spellcloth) every time the cooldown was up. These sold for upwards 50g apiece on my server 2. As formentioned, i did my daily quests. The ones in Ogr'ila and in Skettis paid 70g a day and were generally easy to do. 3. I affliction farmed the Legion Hold of shadowmoon valley. I would pull 4-5 mobs there with 3 instant cast dots, and Frozen shadoweave+ siphon life kept me up easily. An aoe fear every now and then plus drain life=never running out of mana either. A couple of times, i took a resto druid along with me just so i never had to stop for mana or worry about dying (he picked up all the loot and i just never stopped). The reason I happened to turn so much gold out of farming this is because i would turn the netherweave cloth into bags, disenchant the greens, pick up blues and rep and sell it all on the AH These three in combination netted me around 3k gold in about 4 days. Happy farming
