silly things kids do !!

so my 8 year old wants a raptor pet on his level 15 hunter. I get a warlock friend to run him from Theramore to Ratchet, to tame a barrens raptor (alliance on a PVP server). No problems there.

silly thing 1.
A few horde kids in ratchet decide to attack us, but a gnome level 70 warlock is still a level 70 warlock, oh and there was a random 52 human warrior there too....

silly thing 2.
anyway, the next day my sons twin brother comes to tell me that "jono has made his home in Ratchet" All I could do was laugh.
he knows where the graveyard is all too well now, and at least he has the booty bay fp too !

Cyph,

It's so nice to see parents guiding children on Wow, instead of children being unleashed without direction

Re: silly things kids do !!

The parent guidance it's absolutely neccesary in my opinion.

As a person with no childrens nor plans for it, I still find very disturbing the idea of kids reading some of the things posted in the trade channel, barrens channel or BG channel, not to mention some of the wierd stuff in the guild channel ;)

Then again, kids this days are very different from the ones in my generation (and i am only 23).

PD: All and any flagged gnomes must die or at least be engaged on sight.

Re: silly things kids do !!

My son (who is 13) started playing before me, and got me hooked on the game. He offered me advice on getting started and levelling etc, and I offered him advice on ettiquette etc.

His guild just promoted him to A raider (they are on Gruul with Kara cleared) because they do know his age, but say his mature attitude showed he was capable of working with the guild well.

It was nice to see him get on well.

Now - I just wish I could get him to stop treating me like an interest free bank - lol
