Hell.
If you are not a tailor, in the case of the FSW a shadoweave tailor, you cannot wear BoP gear from tailoring. You will also lose the set bonus from spellstrike, it appears that you need to be a 350 tailor to get that...

Re: making the gold

i find the best way of getting gold is to grind primals. Water close to shatraa, mana at area 52 and fire. But to make profit there shouldn't be alot of grinders are online. But i've only started to save up since last week for my epic mount.. and ofcourse i wish it would go faster, but thats wow.. it isn't supposed to be fast gold, otherwise everyone would have massive gold ;-)

Re: making the gold

Here s my lucky story.
Since bc came out, i joined best raiding guild on my server.
I whanted damn mount all the time, just never had actually so much time to do serious grinding for mount. Once i even got to 3k gold, but then for whole month had rush at my work, worked longer, came home, bought stuff i whanted for raids, and so on, i dropped to 100g. Anyway, last week i had 300g, and been saving blessing cards for my new trinket. Finnaly got last card and made a blessings deck.
Was happy with it,and just in 1 moment, silly idea came to my mind in if. Thought, what the hell, let me just see for how much could i sell it. Hmm, and if i set some silly price like 4000g, i could even get a mount in near future.. so typed /2 WTS blessings deck 4000g.
Few responses with thats too high price and so on,so i just figured, darkmoon faire is 4 days away, ill just put in ah for 4000g and see what happens, if wont sell it till then, then ill just get my trinket.
I put it in ah, said on trade channel that deck is in ah, and after 2 minutes it was sold hehe.
Normally, asked guildies to loan me 1k gold, and i got my mount.
Now grinding my *** off,to get money back .

Re: making the gold

They say "Gold is easy in the outlands" which is true for the few hundred a day, but 5,000 is still 5,000 and considered a lot by anyones standards. Even if you claim "I made 5K in 5 Days" that statements needs to included game hours played not days. Some people are online 10 hours other are on for only 2 hours a day. Anyway ...

Farming Hot Spots (No Gathering):

Group 1 ... 200g per hour avg
... 1hr Farming avg -- 100 small Faction Items (AH-75g), 5 large Faction Items (AH-75g), 5-10 stacks of Netherweave cloth (25g), 20g in Grays and Whites, 5-10 greens (to DE), 0-1 Blues, 25-50 gold in coin
BE's @ Black Temple
BE's @ Mana Station B'nar
Demons in Netherstorm
Demons in Shadowmoon

Group 2 ... 100-300g per hour avg
... 1 hr farming avg ... 5-10 Primals of <focus>, 20 - 40 gold in Grays and whites, 5-10 Greens (to DE), 0-1 Blues, 0g in coin

Fire = SMV (lava fields) or BEM (Scar)
Mana = NS (Wizards row)
Shadow = Nagrand near the Dome
Life = Zswamp Bog Lords or TK Forest on Treants
Water = TK Lake or Skettis
Air = Nagrand Elemental Plateau (or just buy in AH)

I usually keep all the Netherweave and Green Disenchants and Primals for Tailoring, but was still able to make the 5K for the epic mount in a reasonable period of time. You should be able to easily make 200 - 500 gold a day with 2 to 3 hours of farming. Just base everything on the average of 100 gold per hour and in 50 hours you have your epic. I truly think you can average 200 gold per hour with focused farming cutting the time in half. 50 hours equals 4 game days and you can divide it anyway your schedule allows. If you play only 2 hours a day then your looking at less then a month. If you play 5 hours then your under 2 weeks .. etc Someone saying they can make 500 in 5 days is not out of the realm, I know some pleople who play 10 hours a day.

Re: making the gold

I find it hard to keep money, i spend everything on repair bills and consumables for raiding, and trying to grind out the last few skill points on my enchanting.

-farm primals- primal manas- netherstorm, and my favorite, the lake in skettis for primal waters. as a warlock its a joke, i get about 8 primals an hour in there.
-blood elves by the black temple are awesome- money, tons of cloth, greens, and signets
-do every quest you can find. travel to the places you havent been since you were mid 60s- do everything there.
- unlock your dailies, theres the blades edge ones, and 2 in skettis to do before you get the rep to do others.

they severely lowered the mats on ring enchants. id suggest you just do those for your last 3 points. if I recall correctly its now only 2 large prismatics and 2 greater planar essences. where it used to be 6 or 8 of each.

Re: making the gold

The way to make money at 70 is try to make money.

Grind on mobs, do gathering trade skills, do daily quests, run instances etc. As long as you are actively trying to make money it should be really easy.

Unfortunately I find making money boring as heck and I spend all my time doing PvP which is negative income.
