Help w/ Making Cash 65-70
I've seen some tips for making cash once level 70, however I am not there yet. Can anyone give advice for cash generation levels 65-70? I'm sooo poor. I'm just using pots/oils for dungeons and upgrading gear as I can, while leveling tailoring + enchanting. Thanks! |

Re: Help w/ Making Cash 65-70
65 to 70 Cash mainly comes from Quests ... you should be leveling up anyway .. and by the time you are lv 70 you will easily have 1000+ gold for a flying mount. Shortly after that you can farm the cash for your epic though farming BE's as your main diet. |

Ignore your enchanting until you've got a flight mount. Your tradeskills will be nothing but a money drain, although if you DE what greens you get and use only found cloth you should do ok. If you get too poor, just farm Obsidian Warbeads and Netherweave in Nagarand, or Zaxxis Insignia and Netherweave outside A52. Sell the cloth, and do the rep turnins. Edit: Quests help, but they're just a drop in the bucket until you can start daily quests. |

Actually.. enchanting's a great profession to have while leveling in outland. You get an absolute ***-load of blues and greens between questing, random drops and instancing. I know I still have a ton of mats left over from 60-70. Probably close to 1200g worth, with the way my server's market is.

Re: Help w/ Making Cash 65-70
one thing that you might start with is not buying upgrades untill you have a REALLY big upgrade. Most of the stuff you need can be obtained by quests, instances, and drops. I would also guess that if you don{t already have the Auctioneer add'on, that you get it. Sell netherweave and runecloth, farm elementals. the pond outside of Shattrath has eels that drop water primal motes. You also get experience from killing them, and they sell for big G. Also kill all them nether'lurker spiders. each piece of nethersilk will seel fo more than a gold or two.... If you are 65 or better, there is good farming around Area 52. As a soloing 'lock I like running with the blueberry... I sick him on a mob or three, DOT them all up, then by the time you pull aggro they are neard dead and dying fast... It makes it easier when the drop dead at your feet, less time wasted searching them out for looting. I have also found that I make a lot of G with herbalism. Felweed, terracone, dreaming glory and motes of primal life, sell big at the AH. I am almost maxed (368) at alchemy, but I am seriously thinking of dropping it for Tayloring. I am hoping to here that blizzard is going to bring some benefit back to the alchemy profession. It would be nice if alchemists could make shadow oil... I am not sure how that particular ability ended up with enchanting... You should be able to pull in at least 50 gold an hour just farming elementals and selling green drops to vendors... Just try not wasting any G on minor upgrades... you will be replacing all your gear after you hit 70 anyhow.

Stop buying things in the AH. Stop buying potions, you can do standard runs without them. Essentially stop buying anything you don't need to play. Only do tradeskill work if it's free. Honestly there are so many quests incoming that you'll replace almost every piece of gear you have, or get a nice substitute so there is no need to buy anything. |

drop enchanting and replace with mining...sell the ore and gems you pick up. Enchanting is such a waste of time IMO, I dropped it myself....you cant sell the enchants on ah...you have to peddle them in trade channel so that uses up time you can spend farming for ore that you can put on the AH (which takes you a whole 10 seconds to put up for sale) and enchanting takes for ever to level to 375 plus costs you gold to do so. Ore sells great, mining is easy to level and doesnt cost you a dime...lots of trades will to buy them...engineers, blacksmiths and jewelcrafters. Plus farming is easy with a lock...send your VW in to the mob by the node go in grab the ore...on to the next node. Oh and I am made money even on the lower ore too..like mithril and such.
