Announcing the World of Warcraft Stress Test Competition!
lol. you.S.A. there are some nasty bugs though. mostly with spawning of mobs and quest specific chests. (like that darn necklace in lakeshire). i'm not surprised Scythe since the Hunter needs a lot of work. right now it's more a novelty class with all the neat pets it can get. it's sad, but i'm pretty sure that warlocks at their present state could take hunters. :? the competition is exactly what blizzard needs to do. why? not to reward hardcore gamers. but to get more people into more areas to test more bugs. what's the point of having 40 people in one zone all the time with everyone /bugging the same thing every five minutes. it's not like these beta keys cost blizzard anything. in fact, it's an investment in finding more bugs in higher level areas. how else could that happen if people weren't leveling as fast as they could? it's not meant to reward those 48 per server, even though it does. it's meant to get everyone to test higher level bugs. do you want to play a game that's junk after level 35? cuz i don't. |

One of these posts was complaining about the beta contest rewarding players who grind through the levels as fast as possible instead of experience the content. It was made to sound like that's a bad thing. I disagree. One of the very things Blizzard might be trying to test with that contest is how fast people can level in how many days. This is a great thing to test.

not to mention grinding doesn't get you nearly anywhere when compared to questing. i'm talking about gaining experience, but questing also takes you all over the world. you see everything, experience more. it's hard to just accuse someone of grinding since they would have to test the content in order to level. but i guess that goes back around to my previous statement anyway. |
