Im 70... now what?
So I hit 70 today. It was awesome, my RL friends and I had a party. But then, after everybody left and I had an hour or so to do whatever, I was kind of lost. This is my first 70 and I don't really know where to go from here. I mean, I know I need $ for flying mount and gear for raiding, but where do I start? |

I think that the Flyer should come first, once you get your Flying mount travel is so much easier. So with improved travel you can get your gear faster. Most people will disagree with me but hec it works for me! |

yep flying mount comes first.. then finish up any quests you havent done yet .. you will need money for mount i got most of my from there... and then max out your professions :P and follow canadianpimp guide

1. Get kara attuned. 2. Quest for money 3. Review gear guide on this site to get you geared enough for raiding. 4. BG /Arena for fun and gear 5. max professions if you haven't 6. Do dailies for additional money All the above can be done at the same time. The problem you have at the moment is that you have lost your aim (which is to get to 70) you now need to find other things to replace that. It actually took me weeks (just bg'ing) to realise there are so many other targets in the game. |

finish all the quests you can, if you've managed to hit 70 without going to netherstorm/shadowmoon valley go there and do every quest. the money you get questing at 70 is insane, that alone will pay for your flyer. then have fun with instances, work up to heroics and kara, BG for the season 1 gear when you feel like it. and most importantly, enjoy seed of corruption

Grats on 70. As a quick note, you will need your flyer if you want to get kara attuned as you need to be able to fly to alcatraz dungeon to get one of the items for the attunement quest line - if you haven't found out already, summoning doesn't work in netherstorm. |

i think there is a guide on the wow lock forums titled "Unliving Shadows, A Guide to Warlocking" or something like that. Do a search and find it. It will give you the rundown on level 70 blues that you will want and where to get them. Why you don't have at least 900g already as a new 70 is strange... get cracking! I used to be in a guild filled with people that just rolled another alt each time they hit 70. Maybe did a little BG but that was it. Don't be one of those guys... |

I know how you feel. Hit 70 last night and all sorts of strange ideas popped into my head. Drop 370 tailoring and become an engineer ! Respec into.. something ! Re-roll as a Horde Lock ! Today I'm wondering what to do. I'm in a small guild and REALLY don't want to see another raid again. We're all about to hit 70 so will see what those heroic dungeons are all about. I think i'll work on faction and quests while resisting the urge to start building gnomisch contraptions Hand "Department of silly thoughts" Puppet |

The game actually starts with level cap... Most of the instance content is available at 70 (60 before The Burning Crusade) and so is Arena. But there are people who barely enjoy min/maxing their character. In our guild we have several casuals who have 5 or even 7 level 70 characters, some even 2 of the SAME class. Few of their chars are really well equipped, but usually at least one is. |
