Re: Making Gold
That robe of arcana, I survived farming it, never got the drop, was too much of a pain, but I survived, lost as lot of Shards that day though.... And I like these tips to be sure...

Re: Making Gold
Dailies I do and the Order I do them. 0) Gaining the Advantage - reason this is 0 is cause it will take a lot of gathers to get the 8 residues. Pick up the quest and just try to collect while your doing your other dailies. 1) The Multiphase Survey - If you can get the Soup for the Soul daily you can knock both of those out on one trip. 2) The One That Got Away - All the fishing quests are easy and usually in areas your already going to be questing in. 3-4) Blast The Gateway and Blood For Blood -Both of these in helfire and you can only port there once. After you do it the first time you have to fly there might as well do it first while your still in outlands. 5-6) Fly to Skettis and do the escort and bombing quests. 7-10) Fly to Blades Edge and do banish demons, bombing, wrangling, and simon says crystal thing. 11) Sunfury Attack Plans - make sure you pick this up in shat but don't do it until after Blades Edge. Netherstorm is by far the furthest away daily so do this one last then hearth back to shat. 12) PvP daily 13-14) Check to make sure the heroic daily isn't Magisters' Terrace if it is pick it up and head over to Quel'Danas. There will be more dailies here eventually but right now only Further Conversions and Arm The Wards! At this point you can do Magisters' Terrace for a while till your hearth stone resets. 15-20) Fly to shadowmoon valley and do the netherwing quests ore collection, booterang, trouble in the mine, gathering supplies, and crystal turn in. There is also assaulting the scryers / aldor, relic retreval, and disrupting the portal but i rarely do these Hopefully by now you have gotten all the residues and finished off the heroic and / or cooking daily. Doing all those quests will put you at the 25 daily cap. Depending on how fast you can hammer out the pvp daily it should all take less than 2 hours and will net you more than 280g not counting items, rep tokens, and honor. You will also come out with around with 1550 Shattered Sun rep not counting rep from doing Magister's Terrace. |

Re: Making Gold
Btw the new dailies from phase 2 are up on my realm Smuggled Mana Cell - Do allong with your Orgrilla quests The Battle for the Sun's Reach Armory - On Quel Danas takes no time at all to finish Distraction at the Dead Scar - Grouping up with at least one person makes this much faster. Try to go before everyone else since if you tag a mob and someone else gets the killing blow you still get the credit. |

Re: Making Gold
You'll probably get the gold pretty quickly in outlands, but to add a note on bag making: mats for making a netherweave bag sell for about 2 gold less on the AH than the finished bag. Not going to make you rich, but also easy work (plus a few skill points if you are in that range). Just don't flood the market and if sell prices seem low, don't put it to auction. All depends on your server's economy of course, so YMMV. |

They have made this quest easier as well - you can one shot everything but the Pit Lords (who only take two shots now)

Re: Making Gold
Yeah, it's very easy to rack up the requisite number of kills in a single run now. |

Re: Making Gold
Pretty minor (and obvious) thing, but if you're an Engineer, make the Mote Extractor as soon as you can. I made it at level 62 or so, and was collecting Primal Waters as I quested through Zangarmarsh. Now I'm questing through Nagrand, and am collecting Primal Airs as I go. Each cloud gives about 5 motes. |

Re: Making Gold
Something I've started doing lately (and this will cause shudders of horror from all of the tailors on the board, I'm sure), is buying stacks of Netherweave from the AH when they're listed for less than 3g. I then turn 'em into Heavy Netherweave Bandages and sell those to a vendor for 6g per stack. Most of the time, I only make 25 ~ 50s per stack of Netherweave cloth, but in rare cases (usually on the weekends), I've picked up cloth for 2g per stack, netting 1g profit per. The really nice thing is that I can fill up all of my bag slots, save one, with cloth, click "Create All," and walk away from the computer or alt-tab while I craft my bandages. Too, it gives you something to do while hanging out waiting for a battleground / arena / instance. On the flip side, don't list Netherweave for less that 3g 10s, or you'll wind up "losing" gold due to the listing fees. |

Re: Making Gold
On my warlock, I can do the 8 on-island Isle dailies in an hour or less consistently. Four of the Shat quests will get you a green item and a possible Badge of Justice in addition to the gold, so I do those every day. The cooking and fishing quest rewards are quick and easy gold too. For straight up farming I make the most gold doing mining/moting circuits of Nagrand (gnome 'lock is an engineer so has zapthrottle). I can make 150 usually in a bad hour, quite a bit more in off hours or if I hit some blue gems. I sell the adamantite ore itself, which brings more gold than the metal (since the jewelcrafters want the ore). Lately I've made enough gold from dailies that I've just donated the farming mats to our guildbank. Other goldmakers: Scholomance! With the addition of the Isle, this is better than ever. Practically no one else on your server will be selling Lifestealing patterns (off the Researchers) and Dark Runes. The runes have been bringing 10-20g on Cenarius lately, because virtually no one is farming them. If you disenchant, that gives you Lifestealing, Dark Runes, Runecloth, and enchanting mats to make money off from. You can probably average 200g an hour if you know what you're doing. There will be bad times when the patterns don't drop, but other times they'll fall like rain. My only caveat here is that you're not earning yourself endgame badges or faction in Scholo. Other old world high-end dungeons are probably comparable if you know them well enough. Faction-item grinding has probably taken a bit of a gold hit with the addition of the Marks as a quest reward, but there's pretty good gold to be made grinding demons or blood elves in Netherstorm or elsewhere. In a place like that cave below Ara, you should be able to make 100-200 gold an hour just from mindless killing. Help any questers who show up (or at least don't interfere with them); they'll be out of your hair soon enough. You'll get greens, the occasional blue, cash, marks, armaments, etc. If you mine, there are a few nodes that pop in there. Anywhere that you can grind humanoids or demons who drop faction stuff, you should be able to make out decently. |
