Wow, everyone, that are some great comments, suggestions and a nice discussion about the worth. ( i am not going to charge 37-40 bucks tough, its a freebee, hehe )

I have been doing some more work and have set up a semi finished product to the guide threads. If it gets approved as is it will be updated to be a full guide.

More will probably updated, but not very soon. I havent even logged into wow for 9 days now. Waaay to much work. I will do my best tough.

And please, keep suggestions and info coming, i did and will keep using these to update the information. Thanks a lot.

It does, nice site link.

My goals when I hit 70:

1. Pay for regular 70 flying mount
2. Get my FSW set, Spellstrike set and Girdle of Ruination
3. Finish getting all my blue gear upgrades that were non-instance related following Canadianpimp's Guide
4. Get my Kara key and start Kara runs (post FSW and Spellstrike set completed)
5. Finish my Sha'tar rep for head enchant and grind to at least revered with all factions for enchant recipes (did not bother with Exalted until I entered SSC/TK)
5. Do Heroics for badges, gear and reputation (Underbog, Slave Pens, all TK and Ramparts were the ones I liked.. still not exalted with UC because I hate those instances on heroic).
6. Finish leveling up my enchanting (which included a ton of mote farming)
7. Start 25 man content
8. Get exalted rep with factions that I need for raid elixirs (Sha'tar, Scryer, Cenarion) and finish my quests for the Champion the Naaru title
9. Finish whatever quests I have left that are non-raid and do dailies for epic flying mount
GREAT post. I'm following that order, its just gonna take me longer because of

1. how badly geared i am right now.

2. I've nevre been in an instance besides deadmines and stocks.

3. My enchanting and tailoring are both around 330.

4. I'll have to search for what the hell Sha'tar rep gives me, what a raid elixir is, how to get LC rep the fastest, where the mote farms spots are, how to get "Champion the Naaru" title cuz it sounds cool, and I need to freakin go get at least some dailies.

5. BUT...I do have an epic flyer!!

Perv I'm not kidding, it would be a hell of a lot of work (if you've ever seen a good leveling guide you know) but once you start charging for your time you see reward start to come back to you. Just like a pro writer basically.

If it was lock specific you prolly could charge $37, but there are "Warlock guides" out there that are 24.95, and I've seen them - basic info that you would already know by the time you hit 70 if you've done some BGs, some pvp, and instances.

It is set up to be lock specific, tough there is general info in there to. Cant be helped, the game is just not designed that there are no crossover parts. Except class specific quests.

Also, i have no intention to start making money with this stuff, i make my money with other means, and dont have the time, nor the interest to make gaming or writing my business.
The guide will be my present to the den and fellow warlocks, whom in turn made my lock character and wow a bit more interesting and fun. So see it as a thank you and nothing else
I might however post this to 1 other website ( wow-pro.com ) because, when i had a hard time getting levelled 2 times, i checked there and they got me back on track and into the fun zone.

Thanks tough.
Also, i have posted in the submit a guide a new part, its been a while, but akasha hasnt had time to approve. Since my gaming puter is now dead, i have no option to play anyways, so might update even more and post the new draft here first. Its gotten pretty darned long tough......

Re: Life Afte 70, a roadmap in the making

My lock was my first char and when i hit 70 all i did was straight Battlegrounds. when season 3 started i had full Battleground epics (lol at that) and i had never done arena b/c i thought it was dumb. I went sl/sl when s3 came out and started to polay some...all the while doing dailies and stuff to buy my flyer. Then i decided that there was more to the game than pvp so i rolled a hunter. I did arena on my lock while lvling my hunter (took about 3 weeks) and then right after i dinged 70 (literally 10 mins) i got into a Gruul pug and got T4 shoulders. Well after a month of karas/gruuls im fully epicced on my hunter in pve gear and we are in ssc/tk killing bosses...and my lock is 4/5 Veng gear with a 1750 2v2 and 1700 3v3....its all about what you wanna do. Just ttry to progress somehow. If you want to do pvp start with Battlegrounds and get the Battleground epics. Then when you think you know your class enought start playing arena seriously (you should be farming arena points anyways). If you want to do pve i suggest you find a T4 content guild so you can dive right in and do kara to gear up. PvP and PvE are both a blast. Do what you love

LOL, well, if you do the work, we can make a deal.
Wowmb.net ( and i think wow-pro to ) will have the right to have it for free, and you can go sell it everywhere else.
The we split the profit between you, the den, and if it really rocks, throw me some to :P

Re: Life Afte 70, a roadmap in the making

Reputation wise,

Cenarion Expedition - for Ashyen's Gift. Paired with Fused Nethergon Band you'll get a massive boost to reach your spellhit cap. The heroics aren't very hard either, although they're well known for trash skipping so you'll be doing them more often - more days needed to reach exalted. It also means more badges though. There are also (rather effortless) quests in Blade's Edge and Netherstorm that give CE rep.

Sha'tar (revered) - for the head enchant. A few heroic Mechanar runs and you should be there... I haven't tried heroic Botanica or Arcatraz, but mech is fast and warlocks are popular there (: Xiri's Gift is a nice temporary trink until you get better ones like bloodgem, icon and timbal's.

Scryers - for shoulder enchants, bloodgem, pants enchants for tailors. Depending on AH economy, you could buy signets, but keep in mind your gold count if you're working towards epic flyer. Farming signets is tedious, but you'll get a bunch off Dawnblades and Wretched on the Isle of Quel'Danas plus the 5 from the daily in Throne of Kil'jaeden. Save non-repeatable quests in Netherstorm/Shadowmoon Valley until after reaching Honored.

Shattered Sun Offensive - for the neck, you'll get exalted quickly if you remember to do your dailies and run Magister's Terrace when you can. The proc only works if you are exalted with Aldor/Scryers... and sometimes I did wish I went Aldor.

On a lower priority,
HH/Thrallmar for Blade of the Archmage / Stormcaller, however Jaded Crystal Dagger from heroic MgT is far better, if still gearing hit consider Continuum Blade (CoT revered) or Greatsword of Horrid Dreams (drops off Murmur in shadow labs, either difficulty).

Re: Life Afte 70, a roadmap in the making

Something that's worked for me on a couple of toons is looking at my Armory and using the Find Upgrades button for each item slot. Then I shoot for the best item that I can reasonably get myself (crafted, PvP, instance, faction, boe AH purchase, whatever). I also pay attention to what's available in Kara or badges, and not go too crazy upgrading items that I'll be quickly replacing. Armory will give you a good idea of what you'll be wearing for a while (not doing BT, SSC, Gruul's, etc. anytime soon? Then you don't have to worry about replacing any gear that's just below those raids. My 'lock is some Cenarion rep away from a ring, then I'll be happy with my gear until I start getting Kara loot. My priest can use a few things off back-door Kara mobs but otherwise needs to hit the 25-mans or ZA for further gear progression.

Re: Life Afte 70, a roadmap in the making

ok everyone,
i am going to see f i can upgrade/ finish this one.
I havent played a while and restarted a few weeks back. Dinged 80, and got lucky with a good casual raiding guild. Just my cup o tea. Loads of fun chat, good fun raids etcetera. Set food in my first raid ever VoA 10 man ( heroic i believe ) Or at least we ran it with 10.
Short run, 3 attempts to kill da boss. AND i got 2 great epics.
Now i of course have to rethink my future, rep grinds, instances and raids to run, enchants, gems etcetera etcetera.
Also, this time i will have to try and keep the fun in it. My alts never went beyond 25, and now i AM gonna level them for the profession aids especially to help my enchanting for the lock to the max. Doing dailies is also a way, but starts to bore me fast.
Of course i learned a lot of new stuff, digged deep in the den and saw LOADS of great posts. So now i wish to upgrade again, and make a life after 80. And this time complete it
