Whos Most Powerful NPC?
The Lich King/Arthas is in Northrend, wich isnt in yet.Currently, Illidan is the most powerful NPC, as stated by Blizz.When Northrend comes, The Being Formerly Known as Arthas will own though :evil:

Who is the most powerful non-playable character in WoW?
if you read the stories..... the Titans... the guys that shaped all of the worlds.... are the biggest baddist NPC's around... and since Sargeras turned himself into the twisting neither's leader and having been one of the strongeist titans when he was still a titan.... Sarg man has the cake stay safe everyone, -Sala

Who is the most powerful non-playable character in WoW?
I wouldn't discount Medivh since he was possessed by Sargeras and was able to drive his pressence out of his mind. No small feat I'd imagine. Though I should have phrased this as who will be the most powerful NPC in WoW and later expansions. Still, I just finished reading the published Warcraft lore and the Naga managed to rescue Illidan and escape to Outland after Arthas had him at his mercy. Classic villain mistake no. 81, leave your nemesis alive after besting him or her in combat. |

Who is the most powerful non-playable character in WoW?
I'd say Medivh, he was the most powerful guardian or Tirisfal, an organization dedicated to killing demons. Also if you read the novel The Last Guardian, Medivh's mother (a former guardian) defeats Sargeras in combat but his spirit, before it goes back to the twisting nether invades the unborn child's (medivh's) mind while it is too weak to defend itself, but I stray from my point. Medivh's mother did it, and Medivh is much much stronger than her.

but look at this.... So ALL of the demons are controled by Sargeras, he's trapped or is voln. in the twisting neither, and ontop of all of that... she was only able to defeat his spirit.... not him... BIG differance Yes I will give ya that Medivh is a strong guy... very strong... but compaired to the SOURCE of all evil engergies in the universe.... I just can't see himbeing more powerfull... stay safe everyone, -Sala

Magnus the only problem I see with your version is that Sargeras was engaging in a mock duel with Aegwynn; he intentionally let her defeat his Avatar so he his master plan could come to fruitition: Quote:

Hmm forgot that part, been a long time since I read the book. I still however think Medivh is stronger just by himself, but if you count the Burning Legion along with Sargeras then he is more powerful. Oh and Salalorn he isn't the source of all the evil energies he merely assembled the army. All these things were around before the burning legion, dreadlords, felhunters etc. it's just that Sargeras brought them all together.

Who is the most powerful non-playable character in WoW?
Illidan because as blizzard have stated in a similar thread on the offical wow forum, he's the most powerful npc who features in wow. Lich King/Arthas is in northrend and doesn't feature in the game, there is no appearance of Kil'jden or Sageras. Medhivh has gone to take his place with the legends of the past and isn't in wow either, leaving illidan as most powerful npc but default. |
