Not unexpected. But the leveling curve should be increased in order to effectively test the high[er] level aspects of the game and classes. |

They might do it like they did during the "try the Horde" push where you just punch in what level you want to be.

maybe. but the attempt to be anonymous makes this lack credibility to me. this has as good a chance of being true as being a photoshop made to scare current beta testers. :dontknow: |

I think it's a very real possibility, a total character wipe, however because of the anonymous I am gonna have to say I think this is a photoshop.

i don't think they will. if they did then open beta would have to last at least a month. otherwise you would have thousands of people only having enough time to test the bottom half of the game. |

Sorry to disappoint bosc, but you will be lucky if open beta lasts one month. Open beta's aren't used to test high end game play or anything like that, they are purely a stress test on the servers before release. In most cases open beta starts as the game goes gold, ie when the CD's are being printed and boxes made you will be in open beta... or just before that. The average open beta test last around two weeks.

Closed Beta Character wipe before open?
I just wanna play.... I have already formed my life around playing this game and as such there is this hugh empty void where WoW play time should be... I mean for crying out loud I was always a 'b+' studnet in school.... I've got all 'a's right now in COLLEGE!!!! I need my WoW... I'm turning into one of thoes /shudders, overacheivers.... stay safe everyone, -Sala P.S. Should I start wanning my sleep pattern down to 2 and 3 hours a night also?.... to get the body used to WoW... as well as my time sech.?
