Grinding to Exhaulted with the Aldor

I'm aldor, but still sitting at Honored... how does one get to exhaulted without spending godly amounts of time farming Marks of Sagreras or Fel Armaments?

Well you can't quest to exalted so if you are not willing to put the time into grinding then you are forced to purchase your marks/armaments from players and AH.

The option comes down to:

Spend time
Spend money
A combo of both

I'm curious how everyone else got to exhaulted with these factions?

Any tips or advice?

aldor - grind legion hold mobs (shadowmoon valley)
scryer - grind the mobs outside blacktemple (shadowmoon valley)

no short cuts really - just hours of killing the same mobs over and over.

I just went with fishing primal water and selling cut gems, then bought what I needed.

A guildy took note of his gold then went to grind outside of BT, getting cloth, marks, greens, and coin. He then spent all of the gold he made (after selling and repairing) on more marks.

(Note: A Fel Armament is worth 14 marks rep-wise, so when you're buying, make sure you compare prices between the two.)

Go grind mobs in legion hold. As an enhancement shaman I just did it and I averaged about 40 marks an hour and 3 to 4 armaments.

You get 3 to 4 greens during this time, about 120 or so netherweave cloth, and about 15 to 20 gold off of the mobs.

Heck this is a great grind spot for money if you can stand getting bored.
60 gd an hour in marks
100 gd an hour in armaments
17 gd an hour in cash
50 gd an hour or so in netherweave bags if your a tailor.
10 to 20 gd an hour in greens selling to vendor. Probably more if you DE.

Yeah... i've had alot of bad luck at Legion hold. I was there for a half hour this weekend and only got 10 marks. I gave up after i got to 10... didn't seem worth it.

A good side alternative you can also do is the Sunwell daily where you have to kill 6 demons and impale one with a banner (easy if you are there already). At least you'll get an easy stash of gold plus sometimes a mark/armament drops. It's a bit more interesting for scryers as there are two Sunwell quests that drop marks (Crush the Dawnblade and Intercept the Reinforcements, I think) so basically I do those plus the Sunfury Attack Plans quest whenever I have time and those tend to drop quite a few rep items. It's slower than a focused grind but at least it's not quite as (arguably) monotonous.

One other very common thing I've seen is while you are out farming, also farm for scryer's signets and arcane tomes. While this doesn't get you rep.. it does for someone. You can either get gold by selling these on trade then go buy the ones you need from the AH, or you can just trade signets for marks and/or tomes for arms.

All that I did was to complete the sunwell dailies (around 45 minutes), hand in any signets and tomes I got then spend 100G on the AH to get more signets and tomes. This will still leave you some cash left over from the dailies and you will be able to get exulted in a week or so spending less than an hour a day at it.
