New Recruit a Friend System

They have revamped the recruit a friend system and added a bunch of goodies!

There is an exclusive Zhevra mount that you can get on one charecter once your friend signs up for a full acount! I haven't seen pictures yet but that is something I'd like to have.

While you and your friend quest together you get triple xp. You also have the ability to summon each other anywhere in the world once an hour. Another cool thing is that for every 2 levels your friend gets they can "give" a low level toon of yours a level.

Almost makes me want to set up a second account in a different name but then I wouldn't be able to merge them later.

Details are here: Blizzard Support

Re: New Recruit a Friend System

Visit the wow community site, or better yet just the launcher window that pops up when you attempt to run Warcraft. You'll see the Zhevra mount there. Its basically a zebra with horns on its head, I think it looks pretty cool but I can't seem to locate any new vict... err.. friends to join. :(

Ya bad timing... I have already captured the souls of... err... talked my brother and two best friends to join WoW.

I mean, I did convince them to make a healer, tank, and another dpc/cc to group with my warlock for 4/5 of the core group for my own/our own benifit... but heck, I'd like to see this be retroactive and reimburse me for my recruiting!

Re: New Recruit a Friend System

So invite someone and get a horned Zebra......they couldnt think of something better than that? I do like the shared EXP idea. For 20 levels you would get about 6 levels.. now if you have a level 52 toon and give those 6 levels to it ... HELLO OUTLANDS! But it probably wont work that way.

I presume it has to be lower than them. That way you can keep an alt up with them while they level without putting as much time in. It's friendly to newbies as it helps retain them, if that makes sense.
