Deathwing?!

Hey all,

I am currently in the Lower City next to our dear friend Wind Trader Zhareem. on the ground, just to his left, is one of those flat round projection devices that is shining upward with a pink light. Floating is a little projection of a Dragon, it is Black with little silvery bits throughout his skin and wings. It has a look of a big dragon of old and not the Netherdrake models. Is this Deathwing? As i recall, Deathwing is the largest of the Aspects, he also has metal fused to his body to hold himself together. This dragon looks simular to thst description. None of the npcs around it talk of it and I cannot click on the dragon either. a Consortium Assistant came up and is hovering next to the dragon pointing at it, but i get no info off him either.

If this is a small representation of Deathwing, he looks awesome. But to date, I have only heard rumors that Deathwing is still out there planning evil deeds but hasn't actually appeared in game in any form.

Actually... I'm fairly certain this isn't him. Deatwing supposedly has armor attached to his body, while this dragon, looks like it may have had some kind of silver metal poured into the cracks of its body creating some kinda lightning looking effect over its skin.

Though, it would be wicked cool if it was, I hope the real Deathwing looks as good if not more so.

Isn't that just showing you a projection of the daily dungeon quest? Dragon from Black Morass maybe?

Oh cool, Didn't know those projections actually showed the daily quest mobs/bosses... So then, which daily involves a Succubus? The other portal on the other side had a Succubus rotating slowly within it. It's been a while since I've done the outlands instances (officially gone without playing my 70 alliance lock for well over two months now /cheer! For the Horde!).

It's a pretty handy projection, actually, since it lets you see the daily without having to drop the one you're currently on. Because I typically don't run dailies every day, I often end up out of sync with everybody else. Still, it's nice to pick up (say) the heroic ramps quest, since hramps is so easy, and then keep it handy until you actually get a hramps group, especially if the later dailies are things like hbot or hdurn.

Succy? not sure... I use the projection the same as Thrin mentioned. But I have always known it to show just the end boss of the instance. Warpsplinter, Quag, Warlord K., etc. ...and only noticed the pic above recently for Herioc BM. Not sure if they changed this to show unique mobs in the instance too.

Ooh, we should collate a list of all the projections and which dungeon they refer to - add it to Crypt's Dailies Guide.
