Pre Wrath Content Patch is coming!

Blizzard announces Pre-Wrath content patch - WOW Insider

This is all SUPPOSEDLY coming in the next few weeks

This patch will feature:

New class spells and talents
Stormwind Harbor
Barbershops in capital cities
Zeppelin towers outside of Orgrimmar and Tirisfal Glades
Two brand-new Arenas featuring challenging new layouts, terrain hazards, and moving obstacles
Guild calendar
Hunter pet skill revamp
New profession: Inscription

There is also talk of a possible world event that will set in motion the move to northrend by both the alliance and horde. Wowinsider has been talking about some sound files found by other websites of Arthas and some dialogue about that. If you want to spoil it for yourself, you can search for it

I'm surprised, I don't find spells and abilities stable at all in the beta. In fact, half the new abilities and talents are still horribly broken.

Good news none the less. Lets everyone ease into the expansion a bit. At least the servers won't crash with everyone trying to get a haircut on release

Although stuff may be broken in the beta build, its likely the current dev build is a few iterations ahead, with a stack of "potential" fixes for broken spells, talents, etc...

I say potential, cos a bug aint fixed just cos a developer sez it is...

Normal servers. They've done this two(?) months before the launch of BC.
See it as a massive 'beta'-test for all the new talents on live servers.

What do you think, is Inscription worth to take for a lock? I'd like to drop herbalism on my main to get another profession.

My lock has Tailoring and JC, not to keen on dropping JC costs to much gold to level as for tailoring I think I should keep it

Hmm, was looking at the two new arenas, and they a really worrying me

They are both smaller than the three old arenas, especially the sewer arena will be really small. Will this be a giant boon for mellee players? Emagine that when ever you get line of sight to another player, you'll be in charge or shadowstep range... how fun will that be for casters? Uhh, and yay for demonic portal if you can't get far enough away from the enemies to get out of the charge range

Hopefully it's just me who is pesimistic

They did this for BC before it came out too, I was expecting this. Though, it sounds a little sooner than I expected. And the fact that you don't have to have the expansion to pick up Inscription is interesting, you just cant go beyond 375 with it until you buy the game. jewelcrafting, i believe, required the expansion to use as all the trainers were in the new areas.
